A Pre-Dawn raid for process crimes?

I’m sure you’ve all heard by now that the FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid on Roger Stone’s house to arrest him for lying to Congress, obstruction and witness tampering.

But from the look of the video filmed by CNN – who just happened to be there before the pre-dawn raid began – you’d think they were arresting some really dangerous, psychotic killer.

Pre-Dawn raid

What’s next?

Is the FBI going to send in a SWAT team to arrest Nick Sandman for smiling?

Look, I don’t think much of Roger Stone.  He’s a preening peacock who excels at passing himself off as far more important and influential than he really is.

But come on you guys!

He’s a man in sixties who knew he was probably going to get arrested.  Mueller’s team of lawyers couldn’t pick up the phone and call Stone’s lawyer and ask that he surrender himself?

Do they really need to conduct a pre-dawn raid on the guy for Pete’s sake?

If this wasn’t such a travesty of justice, it would be downright comical.

You know, if we really had a Justice Department that was committed to the constitutional precepts of “equal justice under the law,” Robert Mueller would be sent packing.

And why in Lucifer’s reach was CNN first on the scene?!

This isn’t justice; it’s made-for-TV hype.

James Clapper lied to Congress.  But he didn’t find himself on the receiving end of a pre-dawn raid, did he?

Nope.  Instead, he’s a paid contributor to CNN – the very same network that mysteriously knew ahead of time that the FBI would descend on Roger Stone’s home, guns drawn, to drag him away in his pajamas.

For process crimes.

This whole thing is a farce.

This is where Trump could hang his legacy on. Shut the FBI down and divide their responsibilities over to wings of the US Marshals service and the Secret service. Claim it has become politically weaponized.

This raid served one purpose and one purpose only – put pressure on the target in hopes of scaring him into becoming a fiction writer and turning on the president.

Mueller has a long history of this type of over the top treatment in attempts to get people to turn. It is time some federal judge looked at this and sanctioned him severely – like disbarment from any federal proceedings for him and any attorneys assigned to the case. Make his assigned attorneys unemployable in their chosen field and it will convince others to play nice.
