Actress gives a Master Class in virtue signaling

I know this is going to be painful, but watch this forty-six second clip to see the most agonizing bit of virtue signaling ever committed to film:

I know. It’s hard to watch that clip and not cringe so hard you end up in traction.

If this is what passes for a Master Class in Hollywood, I understand why most people think actors are idiots.

Honestly, if it’s possible to pull a muscle from virtue signaling, I’m thinking this Ellen Pompeo is going to be really sore for a few days.

You might want to put some ice on that, Ellen.

So if Ellen walks into a room and 13% of the people in it aren’t black, she’ll be super upset? Am I understanding her correctly?

I’m guessing if Ellen walking into the room results in the room being too white, she won’t be the one leaving.

What do you think?

Too bad she doesn’t have the same view when it comes to diversity of thought.

Let’s face it. There are virtually no open conservatives in Hollywood. Yet nearly half the country sees themselves as conservative or conservative-leaning.

Does it upset Miss Master Class that any room she walks into won’t reflect that aspect of the country?

I’m guessing no.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I’m not a racial bean-counter. But this kind of stuff just seems all kinds idiotic to me.

Personally I would prefer knowing that the room I’m walking into is populated by the most qualified and talented people possible – not matter what color or gender they are.

If we really want to get beyond racism, then we need to stop lumping folks into racial subdivisions and start looking at each person as an individual.

But neither Jemele Hill – whoever the hell she is — nor her Master Class “ally” want to do that.

Because the truth is, they don’t want to get beyond racism.

That wasn’t a Master Class on “being an ally.”

The only thing this babbling broad is giving a Master Class on is “groveling to the race mongers.”

It was a Master Class on sanctimonious virtue signaling by condescension.

I’m embarrassed for that insipid actress – whoever she is. (Sorry, I’m not up on the latest gaggle of “Look how woke I am” Hollywood starlets)

Why would you want “allies” who can’t see beyond the color of your skin? Isn’t that racist?

But for some reason this Jamele – whoever she is – demands her so-called “allies” to be nothing more than prostrating suck-ups.

Clearly her idea of an “ally” is someone who comes to her as a penitent – begging to be forgiven for the sin of being born with the wrong skin color.

See, I have too much self-respect to bow and scrape before a racist.

So it’s safe to say I’m not ever going to be an ally of Jamele’s.

And you know what? I’m good with that.

Why, it’s almost as if Ellen PompohmygoodnesslookhowsorryIamforbeingwhite believes that it is the white man’s burden… Hmmm, why does that sound so familiar to me???

I don’t care about color, I just want the best doctor/lawyer/whatever rather than one that was an incompetent affirmative action placement

Will Ellen give up an acting slot to a black female? After all, if she takes on an acting role she might be preventing a black actress from having that role.

I once dated a few actresses …WAY back in my past.
They are great at convincingly being someone else but don’t know how to be themselves or have a solid idea of who they are- incessantly watching the behavior of other humans and doing their “research” to apply it to their own persona. (They may need that particular perspective on set someday.)
As they speak, they constantly adjust reflective parameters in the giant mirror focused on their awesome person and are “hearing” at the same time they’re speaking.
She is laying it on thick here and enjoying the spotlight shining on her.

Why would I be an ally to people who hate my guts?

Has she ever visited an NFL or NBA locker room? How many black men would have to leave in order to suit her idea of virtue?
