Remember last month when Hillary tweeted out this message to herself?

Um. Awkward.

Yeah. We all kinda gave her grief about that at the time, didn’t we?

In my post Oh, now that’s just sad, I wrote:

How does it look for Hillary Clinton to tweet out that she is the future president?
Doesn’t it only feed into the negative opinion that she arrogantly views herself as inevitable?
I’ve read enough of the Podesta emails to know that Team Clinton is very careful to avoid the appearance that they believe her ascendency to the White House is inevitable.
But you couple this arrogant “Happy birthday to this future president” with the optics of Hillary Clinton tweeting out her own birthday wishes to herself from her own Twitter account?
Oh, honey.
It’s not just an optics disaster.
It’s really downright sad.

Well, now that Hillary lost in an electoral blow-out, it’s gone from downright sad to downright awkward.

Who knows how long before Hillary quietly deletes this tweet.

I give it a week. You want the over or the under?

In keeping with the Dewey Defeats Truman theme I did on election night, I thought I’d do it again.

This time using that awkward and humiliating tweet.

You know. The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that Hillary won’t keep that tweet on her timeline for much longer.

Too many people — like yours truly — will have a field day with it. And I’m sure Hillary feels like she’s been humiliated enough.

Good thing I got a screen capture for posterity.

But any humiliation Hillary is feeling is of her own making.

From the very beginning of the campaign, she behaved as if the Presidency was hers. I mean, for heaven’s sake. She sent out that ridiculous tweet!

She treated the entire election season as nothing more than an expensive formality before her inevitable rise to the Oval Office.

And I for one am going to rub her face in it for as long as it entertains me.

The smile on her face just looks like she just did something wrong and thinks she’s getting away with it.
    …like most days!

BTW, it’s still up there. I just retweeted it with the caption “Zombie Hillary in 2020!”

Yeah, we’ll know when she deletes it because it will not show up at the top of this post. Instead, you’ll just get the text.

I doubt Hillary tweeted it or may not have even known about it going up. She has people for that menial stuff. I am sure it tested very well in the focus group echo chamber and the staff ran with it. Now that the rats are abandoning the sinking ship, the person with the twitter password has probably been jettisoned with no one now monitoring the account.
