Boy, things never live up to the hype

You know, I have to admit, after all the hype and media attention given to the “Giant Trump Baby” blimp, it was a bit of a letdown.

From the way the media was carrying on, didn’t you get the idea that this was going to be a massive, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day float-sized monstrosity soaring high above the city of London like a barrage balloon?

I know I did.

But, the hype, as is often the case, was a wee bit exaggerated.

Hype versus reality

Good grief.

One well-placed blow dart and that baby’s comin’ down.

It’s all kinda sad and pathetic.

Wouldn’t you say?

It’s like when you buy an ice cream treat based on the mouth-watering picture on the wrapping. Then you tear off the wrapping and the treat looks nothing like it’s portrayed on its packaging.

For all that hype, for all the international media attention given to this stupid thing, I can’t help but feel a bit defrauded.

And if I feel defrauded, imagine how the idiots who actually donated money must feel.

Once again, media hype doesn’t live up to reality.

And they wonder why we call them Fake News.

It’s as tall as a person and 3 people can link hands around it. LAME!
I’m gonna make an offer for it. It’s kinda cute.

Well, of course it’s small. We’re it any larger, it would have carried off the 98lb lightweight holding onto it.

    Under-whelming to say the least.
