Caught in the web of their own semantics

You gotta admit, watching the news media get caught in the web of their own semantics has been the most hilarious thing ever.

Once again, President Trump grabs the narrative away from the news media.

And once again the news media is scrambling to prove him wrong.

You know. Just like they did back in March of last year when he tweeted out this:

Oh, how they mocked him.

And when it was learned that they did in fact surveil the Trump team, the news media spun their semantics web.

“Well,” they sniffed. “It wasn’t technically wiretapping. So Trump is wrong.”

Splitting hairs has become a media pastime in this nonsensical RussiaGate nonsense.

You’d think by now they’d stop playing semantics. But they can’t help themselves.

Now that President Trump has landed on SpyGate, the media is at it again.

Ah, yes. It’s all just some tinfoil hat conspiracy theory.

You know, this would have been a more effective insult if the New York Times and Washington Post didn’t pretty much admit that they ran a counter-intelligence plant in the Trump campaign.

These people are ridiculous.

Of course their counter argument is all about semantics.

“He wasn’t a spy; he was a counter-intel asset!”

Ohhhhh! Silly me!

“He wasn’t a spy! He was just observing the campaign and reporting back on what he learned!”

As obscene as it is that the news media is more interested in playing defense in the biggest political scandal in US history might be, it’s nonetheless entertaining.

But mostly because I like watching these dinks make even bigger dinks of themselves.

Hahaha! Good one! I love Mollie Hemingway.

But when I saw these tweets from Scott Adams, I nearly choked on my Polar Seltzer.

Semantics aside, the news media is setting itself up for another cataclysmic failure.

Let’s face it. Every time they poo-poo President Trump’s tweets, he gets proved right and they look like the idiots they are.

You’d think by now they’d stop.

But they can’t stop.

They are so fully invested in defending what is without question the biggest political scandal in the history of the country.

And why?

Because their hatred for the President eclipses any desire for the truth.

As a result, they look like imbeciles on a daily basis.

And any hope that they will ever regain their credibility is caught in a web of semantics.

I missed this one.

How can you “regain” what you never had?

A metaphysical impossibility; except for GOD. And the bigots working in LSM are NOT GOD!

Your taxpayer dollars at work. $400,000 paid to Halper, how much to the others? Over $10 million, and counting, to Mueller’s witch hunt. When do the taxpayers say “Enough!”

What amazes me is the fact that the media and the principals involved in the government side of this issue all believe that Trump had no right to any degree of security within his campaign regarding his campaign staff. Instead of ensuring Trump’s right to privacy as far the inner staff of his campaign, they actually acted to violate those rights.

Imagine, for a moment, that the same agencies had infiltrated Obungler’s campaign in 2008???????

Seriously, knowing what we do about the media and the deep state just envision the outrage……..

The hypocrisy of the left is stunning. Their constant bending and shaping the facts we are hearing in order to justify what is actually a crime is just mind boggling. And yet they persist at this??????

Anyone who represents the ‘undecided’ portion of our electorate can see through the left’s and deep state’s lies.

I say let the left keep this up. The landslide in November will keep getting bigger and bigger the longer that they persist in this obvious farce.

Spy v. Spy. Used to read it all the time in Mad Magazine. Great stuff!

Is it hatred for Trump or their worship for Obama?

The media has painted themselves into a corner regardless of the answer to the question. There isn’t any stellar outcome on the horizon waiting for them.

On a side note: Aren’t Polar seltzers the best?!
