I about blew a gasket when I stumbled on this tweet from Townhall.com:
Cokie Roberts: Oh, We All Knew To Avoid Getting in An Elevator With Rep. Conyers https://t.co/FAfvfKIK1y
— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) November 27, 2017
Are you freaking kidding me?!
So on ABC’s “This Week,” Cokie Roberts made the startling admission that every female in the press corps knew to avoid being alone in an elevator with the dirty old man from Michigan.
Odd how none of you so-called female reporters in the press corps felt the need to, I don’t know, report on that.
Clearly Cokie Roberts is no Lois Lane or Brenda Starr.
You’d think a dirty old man masquerading as a “public servant” who makes elevator rides unsafe for women would be newsworthy.
I find it remarkable that Cokie isn’t in the least bit ashamed of the fact that she just kept her mouth shut and let Conyers perv away.
Now, keep in mind, on this same Sunday show, Cokie “elite-splained” why women who don’t have “fancy white collar jobs” dismiss the accusations against Roy Moore because they’re used to being raped.
Tell me, Cokie.
Isn’t “television pundit” a “fancy white collar job?” So why the hell didn’t you report on what a perv John Conyers is?
Honestly, I cannot believe how cavalier Cokie is about this.
See, if I was a reporter in the Congressional press corps, and some other reporter warned me not to ride in an elevator alone with a pervy Congressman, I think I’d do my job and dig into it a little.
Because isn’t that what reporters are supposed to do?
But then again, it’s hard to have a nose for news when your nose is stuck so far up the Democrat Party’s ass, isn’t it?
Good grief. What a fraud.
