Deeply Religious Man sees the light

Deeply Religious Man sees the light

So just the other day, Joe Biden’s campaign co-chairman Congressman Cedric Richmond explained to Fredo Cuomo why Joe Biden does not believe the Hyde Amendment should be repealed.  “He is a deeply religious man,” Richmond earnestly explained.  “He is guided by his faith. His position on the Hyde Amendment has been consistent.”

That was on June 5, 2019.

On June 6, 2019, that deeply religious man had a Come to Planned Parenthood moment and tossed his support for the Hyde Amendment under the bus faster than you can say “Flip-flop.”

Now that deeply religious man who is guided by his faith has decided that, say, you know what, that Hyde Amendment really has to go.

So much for Cedric’s claim that Joe Biden is consistent.

Though to be fair, Biden is consistent in the sense that he consistently ebbs and flows depending on how desperately he wants to appeal to the far-Left cranks in the Democrat Party.

The thing about this that I find hilarious is Richmond’s claim that Joe Biden is a deeply religious man.  I mean, that’s a big f**king deal!

Unless of course he means he’s a deeply religious man in the same way priests who molest children are deeply religious.

Deeply Religious man laying hands

But here’s the truth when you get right down to the ooey-gooey center: Joe Biden is kind of screwed. As I’ve said before, he’s campaigning as if it’s the 1980s. But the Democrat Party of 2019, unlike Democrats from thirty years ago, is controlled by far-Left lunatics.

The reason Biden was polling so well is because outside of the social media/urban elite, most Democrats are still moderates.

Biden was their chance to vote for someone who wasn’t all aboard the crazy train.

But Joe Biden, that “consistent” and deeply religious man, just keeps hopping aboard the crazy train. He is out of his depth.

This old-school Democrat was so unprepared for the hellfire of the shrieking mob, he’s willing to abandon the very Democrat voters who were enthusiastic about voting for him just to placate the mob.

The Democrats have learned nothing from 2016.  Not one thing.

But much like how their “solutions” to problems end up causing a myriad of other probems (see also Obamacare), their solution to losing elections is to double-down on the very policies that cost them those elections.

Don’t get me wrong.  I’m thrilled that the Democrats are deeply out of touch.

But if the deeply religious Joe Biden thinks the way to secure the nomination is to embrace the crazy and abandon the voters who initially supported him, he’s stupider than I thought.

And where will the moderate Democrats go when every single one of their candidates abandons them to placate the unhinged Left?

Well …

Trump in Normandy

UPDATE:

We now have some insight into what prompted this deeply religious man to change his position on the Hyde Amendment. And it’s about as idiotic as you would expect:

In an honest world Trump would win in a landslide. Unfortunately, the Democrats are doing all they can to: 1) negate the Electoral College, 2) promote voter fraud, and 3) use the MSM to lie through their teeth about anything Trump does (aided by too many neverTrumper Republicans).

I still have hope, but it is slipping away.

if the states refuse to give their votes to the proper electors, their votes are nullified, so whole states will be disenfranchised….unless Trump pulls a Reagan, then you will hear them screaming they need the electoral college

Biden is not necessarily a coward. Without a center, as an unmitigated opportunist, Biden holds no rod against which to measure his bravery or cowardice. In the essential he is as a snake, slithering on the ground, as the ground meets, so he slithers. Biden is a current exemplar of why the demon Satan is represented by the serpent.

40 years of doing nothing and now he wants to be president. Even as vice president he was only comic relief anyway. But to tell the truth I wouldn’t vote for anyone with a ‘D’ after their name in any case. My momma didn’t raise a total fool!

“Deeply religious”? He’s supposed to be a Catholic and that religion, which is mine, is against abortion. And, I wonder when the last time Plugs Biden attended Mass (probably when he made his First Communion).

Catholics like Plugs are known as “CAPE” people – They only attend Mass on Christmas, for Ashes, Palm Sunday and Easter. Bunch of damn hypocrites.
