I’m trying not to curse so much. So pretend that last word in that headline has a “B” instead of a “W.”
When I heard the bloodless response given by Elizabeth Warren over the death of Mollie Tibbetts, I really wish I could say I was shocked.
But I’m not.
Warren is like every other Democrat.
Concern, sympathy and caring are only in theory – never in actual real life situations.
Warren appeared on CNN and proceeded to offer a quick word of condolence followed promptly by the word “but.”
“Sorry for your loss, BUT…”
You can watch it for yourself. Though why you would want to, I’ll never know.
Asked about Mollie Tibbetts being murdered by an illegal immigrant, Elizabeth Warren says "I know this is hard" for her family, but they "have to remember" that we need to focus on "real problems" like illegal immigrants not being able to see to their kids https://t.co/RLLKw9ezGx

Yes, children – many of them accompanied by traffickers and not actual parents – being temporarily separated at the border is what cold-hearted Liz calls “a real problem.”
When I saw that, the first thing that popped into my head was a line from Buffy the Vampire Slayer:
“Are you even made of human parts?”
What a cold, heartless thing to say.
“Sorry that you will be permanently separated from your child. BUT we have this talking point about children separated from their parents at the border that we really think is a winner for the Midterms, so I need to make sure to hammer that home because … I’m caring.”
See, Warren can’t get any political mileage out of a young woman brutally murdered by an illegal alien and taken from her family permanently.
So instead, Pocahontas of Borg quickly offers perfunctory words of sympathy and proceeds with her political talking points.
You know what it makes me think of?
It makes me think of Michael Dukakis’ awful debate answer about his wife Kitty being raped and murdered.
Moderator Bernard Shaw asked Dukakis if he would support the death penalty if it was his wife Kitty who had been raped and murdered.
And without even a nano-second of hesitation, Dukakis offered this robotic response:
“No, I don’t, Bernard, and I think you know that I’ve opposed the death penalty during all of my life. I don’t see any evidence that it’s a deterrent and I think there are better and more effective ways to deal with violent crime.”
It was tremendously creepy.
For Democrats, real-life issues are always boiled down to agenda-driven talking points.
Because actual real life is messy, painful, confusing and hard.
It certainly doesn’t help that people like Pocahontas of Borg are devoid of empathy and compassion.
And when you get right down to it, Warren really doesn’t give two craps about illegal alien children separated from their parents either.
Well, except in how it provides her with a political talking point.
If Warren couldn’t get any political mileage out of those “separated children,” she wouldn’t give a damn what happened to them.
Her so-called “concern” is not only equally perfunctory, it’s calculated and contrived as well.
In fact, compared to Pocahontas of Borg, Hillary Clinton almost looks downright warm and lifelike.
