Last night I went onto Twitter and was amazed at how many Democrats and Democrat media hacks were offering Senate Republicans advice on how to win the Midterms.
Their election advice can be summed up this way:
If the Republicans in the Senate push forward with Kavanaugh’s confirmation, they will be defeated in the Midterms. So if they want any hope of retaining their majority, they would be wise to comply with our demands or it’s game over.
Here’s just one example.
Maybe its karma for his Garland blockade, but with the current, unexpected crisis, @SenMajLdr suddenly finds himself wedged between two goals—jamming Kavanaugh through before the election and maintaining the slim @GOP edge in the Senate. My cut:https://t.co/LswRDGwxEA

They really want Republicans to believe that not caving to the current Democrat hysteria will jeopardize the GOP majority in the Senate.
But if that is really the case, shouldn’t the Democrats simply stand aside and let this supposed fait accompli happen?
After all, as the old saying goes, if your enemy is making a mistake, get out of his way.
But they’re not getting out of the way, are they?
Instead, they are screaming and carrying on like toddlers while pretending to be genuinely concerned over the Republicans’ chances in November.
This would be like the Hitler announcing in 1944 “Listen, if the Allies want to keep me from winning this war, they better not do anything stupid like invade Europe.”
On its face, it’s completely absurd.
But Democrats and their media allies do it all the time.
In fact, just a few years ago I recall Chuck Schumer warning that a Republican will never again win the White House if the GOP does not embrace immigration reform and amnesty.
Fortunately, in 2016, voters ignored Chuck’s “helpful” advice. And by doing so, we pretty much proved that election advice from Democrats is intended to lead Republicans into a trap.
Here’s a simple equation: If the Democrats are telling Republicans what they need to do in order to win an election, do the opposite.
That equation is so simple, even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could follow the math.
Now, it’s true that in the past Republicans didn’t grasp that simple rubric.
In fact, after Romney’s defeat in 2012, the RNC concluded that the solution is to reach out to Hispanics, embrace immigration reform and some kind of amnesty.
In other words, the very things Chuck Schumer was advising them to do.
It’s only because voters didn’t get suckered in to the Democrat advice trap that Trump won.
Given that valuable life lesson, why in Lucifer’s reach would any Republican Senator heed their advice now?
Well, at this point, it appears the Republicans know better this time.
They didn’t cave last week when DiFi first dropped her stink bomb.
And they seem to be pushing forward to get Kavanaugh confirmed despite all the faux concern the Democrats are exhibiting over the Republicans’ 2018 chances.
I’ve said before that the election of Donald Trump has changed the dynamic drastically.
The Democrats, alas, are still trying to play by the old rule book.
And this time, they’re unable to get away with the antics they’ve found so successful in the past.
Not that they’ve stopped trying.
We’re getting oodles of columns, talking heads and concern tweets declaring that by moving ahead with Kavanaugh’s confirmation, Republicans are playing a dangerous game this close to the Midterms.
And in a sense they’re right. It is a dangerous game – for the Democrats.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but Democrats are slimy, awful people.
By standing up to them, Republicans are forcing Democrat to reveal just how slimy and awful they are.
And as with every time Democrats offer election advice, the goal here is to drive a wedge between Senate Republicans and the voters. The Democrats and the media know full well that if the Republicans cave, voters will be dispirited come election day.
And that’s exactly what they want.
It’s what they always want.
The only way Democrats can win is if we don’t turn out and vote.
So they feed the Republicans this so-called advice hoping, like Charlie Brown and the football, Republicans will rush headlong into electoral defeat.
But this time, however, Republicans are standing their ground and Democrats in turn are becoming completely unglued.
And no matter what the Democrats may believe, the majority of Americans don’t particularly want unhinged crazies in charge.
If I actually wanted to help Democrats out here, the election advice I’d give them would be to stop behaving like lunatics this close to an election.
But, see, I want them to lose.
So let them howl, scream, slander, lie and grow ever more unhinged.
Let them enlist Hollywood celebrities to help them.
Let them do everything they did wrong in 2016 all over again.
Because come November, these idiotic tactics are going to backfire on them spectacularly.
