Hillary’s Revisionist History

Bitterness and bile apparently affect a person’s ability to view history accurately.

Who knew?

While hacking her way through a commencement speech at Wellesley the other day, Hillary Clinton told the assembled graduates that Richard Nixon was impeached for obstruction of justice.

Only problem?

That’s not what happened.

Richard Nixon was never impeached.

Although her husband was … for obstruction of justice.

But, thankfully for Hillary, the dummies in the graduating class are just as ignorant of history as she is.

History is the least taught subject in public schools.

And it shows.

That makes it easy for Hillary to indulge in a little revisionist history and nobody’s the wiser.

But it isn’t just history from forty-five years ago that Hillary revises.

She’s busy revising her own.

Hillary was interviewed for this week’s New York Magazine, and boy, howdy, is she rewriting history in order to absolve herself of any responsibility for her miserable campaign.

History is written by the winners, Hillary.

And sorry to break that to you, but that’s not you.

Axios has a brief write-up of some of the things Hillary said in this interview. And let me tell you, there are some mind-blowing falsehoods.

I don’t know how we’ll ever calculate how many people thought it was in the bag, because the percentages kept being thrown at people … I never bought any of that, but lots of people did.”

Come on. How stupid does she think we are?

“I never bought any of that?”

Um. Yes she did.

There’s a reason Hillary Clinton wasn’t furiously campaigning day after day after day.

She thought she had it in the bag.

And if Hillary never “bought any of that,” why was she so inconsolable and enraged that she had to leave the Javits Center without addressing her supporters?

No, she’s lying.

One only needs to see how arrogantly she carried herself in this campaign to know she believed every poll and every projection that saw her winning in a blowout.

Yesterday morning, I sat down and read through every post I wrote during the final weeks of the election and into the weeks following Trump’s win.

And trust me. Hillary was behaving as if she had this in the bag.

She ordered fireworks for election night – that’s how certain she was that “it was in the bag.”

Two days after the election, in a post titled The perils of believing your own propaganda, I wrote:

It was blazingly obvious that Hillary made this rookie mistake weeks ago when she looked into a camera and shrieked, “Why aren’t I fifty points ahead?!”
At that moment, John Podesta should have taken her aside and told her the truth.
Clearly he didn’t.
And Hillary arrived at the Jacob Javits Center Tuesday evening believing she had this election sewn up.
Over at the Washington Free Beacon, I saw a brief piece by Natalie Johnson with this headline: “Top Clinton Adviser: She Didn’t ‘Contemplate Losing’ the White House.”
Of course she didn’t contemplate it.
Hillary believed her own campaign propaganda.
And when reality hit her in the face like a cold, hard slap, she was left reeling.
That’s why Hillary was unable to come out and speak to her supporters Tuesday night.
Sure, her supporters may have been crying and upset, but Hillary was inconsolable.

Hillary didn’t campaign in Wisconsin once during the general election.

Because she didn’t think she needed to.

And for her to sit there in an interview and act as if she knew all along to doubt the polls is nothing but revisionist history.

But there’s more.

Axios also includes this nugget:

“Part of what my opponent did, which was brilliant … was blow the top off: You can say whatever you want about anybody else, and I’ll tell you who to be against. I’ll tell you who you should be resentful of.” The stories her campaign tried to tell, she says, “were boring in comparison to the energy behind malicious nostalgia.”

Wow. Talk about misremembering the campaign.

A recent study done by Wesleyan University showed that 90% of Hillary Clinton’s negative campaign ads were personal attacks on Donald Trump. And only 10% focused on policy differences.

It was as if she was saying to voters, “I’ll tell you who to be against.”

Overall, Hillary’s campaign ads were stridently negative.

Just take a look at all the negative ads Hillary aired compared to Donald Trump:

This notion that her campaign was simply telling boring stories is so far from the truth, it’s what we on Planet Earth call “a lie.”

And, it’s just Hillary’s revisionist history rearing its bitter, ugly head.

She still isn’t over losing.

In fact, she even tells New York Magazine that she beat both Sanders and Trump.

Yup. She beat Trump so bad that now she’s President of the United States…

It’s been more than six months and still Hillary refuses to accept the results of November’s election.

And for historical record, let me point out that refusing to accept the results of an election were, in Hillary’s own words, “Horrifying.”

“So that is not the way our democracy works,” said Hillary at the final debate last October.

“We’ve had free and fair elections. We’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them.”

Remember when she said that?

But has she accepted the outcome of this election six months after the fact?

Not even a little.

Donald Trump saying he’ll keep us in suspense sent her into a tizzy.

At that last debate, she continued on her tear saying, “He is denigrating – he’s talking down our democracy. And I, for one, am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that kind of position.”

[You can find the entire transcript from the final debate HERE]

But who is the one who is taking “that kind of position?”

Why Hillary Clinton of course.

Is she appalled by her behavior?

Apparently not.

Democrats suffer from amnesia.

For them, history began ten minutes ago.

And ten minutes from now, the history from ten minutes ago is all but forgotten.

Hillary Clinton depended on this shortcoming to help her win the White House.

And she continues to rely on the ignorance of Democrat voters to push her revisionist history.

I don’t know which is more pathetic.

The fact the people believe her lies.

Or the fact that Hillary seems to as well.

She has spent too much time in the Ministry of Truth — time for her to visit Room 101 in the Ministry of Love. What’s in Room 101, you ask? According to O’Brien, “The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.” For Hillary, I assume it’s the final electoral vote map and the smiling face of DJT!

This thing has some serious karma coming her way.
Watch the action as her flame burns out.
