If the pearls fit

Rush Limbaugh asked what I think is a particularly good question.

What would be different if Nancy Pelosi were the Speaker of the House?

Would Obama be more likely to get every single thing he wants?

Given the fact that Paul Ryan gave Obama every single thing he wants, the answer is, why bother having Nancy Pelosi as Speaker? Obama doesn’t need her. He’s got Paul Ryan.

Listen, we voters don’t need to abandon the Republican Party.

The majority of elected Republicans already abandoned it.

What it stunning to me, is the same people that claim Donald Trump is “killing the Republican party” are the people who put a bullet dead between the eyes of the GOP.

It says a great deal that a man who, up until a few years ago, was a faithful Democrat — contributing campaign funds to Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, and Hillary Clinton is currently more in line with Republican voters than those who are our elected Republican leaders.

Paul Ryan may never have donated to Nancy Pelosi’s campaign, but he’s pretty much running the House exactly as Nancy would.

Hey, if the pearls fit…

If the pearls fit

The lack of self-awareness on the part of Congressional Republicans is mind-boggling.

At the same time they attack Trump and a large segment of the Republican base for supporting Trump, they double-down on doing the exact things that have made the Republican base sick and damn tired of them.

There’s a reason the top two Republican Presidential candidates are Trump and Cruz. Both men actually listen to the people. Both men actually seek to bring the voters into the debate — their concerns, their wishes, their beliefs. Cruz actually went to Washington to do precisely what voters demanded: Stop Obama.

Problem is, most of the other Republicans sent to Washington to do the same not only aren’t willing to stop this unconstitutional President, they’re aiding and abetting his destruction of our Republic.

These idiots in Congress double-down on reckless spending, taxation, and over-bloated government in defiance of the people. In fact, despite being sent to Washington to prevent it, they have fully funded Obama’s Fundamental Transformation.

Government derives its powers from the consent of the governed.

That was the whole point of declaring our independence from England.

And here we are. Right back where we started. Being ignored. Being ordered around like cattle. Being defied.

All this representation. And none of them represent the people of the United States of America.

You would think the rise of Trump and the rise of the one Senator who stood up to these wretched men and women would serve as a wake-up call.

But Congressional Republicans are not sleeping.

They’re dead from the neck up.

It looks like the majority of those Republicans that promised us they would stop Obama’s reckless spending if we elected them have all come down with amnesia.

Yes, when the Damncrats controlled both houses, and of course his nibs, we got Obamadoesn’t Kare, and a few other things rammed down our gullets, but honestly, it seems to me we are worse off now. Seems to me the Republican’s are even more willing to give him what he wants than his own people were.

We don’t have a 2-party system right now. The Republican Party has simply become a wing of the Democrat Party, leaving an overwhelming majority of Americans without representation. The Democrat wing drives the train while the Republican wing lies about the destination. And now that conservatives have stood up and made it abundantly clear that they want no part of the Republican establishment, the establishment is unabashedly prepared to reveal their true totalitarian colors.
