Impotent and Ineffectual

Impotent and ineffectual

In the wee hours of the morning Thursday, President Trump, Vice President Pence and First Lady Melania greeted the three men freed from North Korea.

And in addition to claiming the President was merely choreographing a “staged production,” the Fake News also lamented that this monumental achievement was nothing more than a distraction from their reporting.

Let’s take the first complaint, shall we?

NBC reporter Hallie Jackson dismissed the release of three American hostages saying this:

”But what was striking, was that this was, listen, Donald Trump is a former reality show producer. This was a staged production meant for television, meant for the cameras, meant to be shown and seen here in this country and around the world.”

Yup. Nothing says, “staged to appeal to American television viewers” quite like two in the morning.

Apparently Hallie Jackson doesn’t remember the moronic “beer summit” at the White House.

Right, Hallie. That wasn’t a staged production in the least, now was it?

Or how about the Obama White House handing out white lab coats to doctors during the Obamacare Rose Garden Speech?

That was completely organic and spur-of-the-moment, wasn’t it, Hallie?

Let’s face it, Barack Obama’s every public address was a “staged production meant for television, meant for cameras.”

But I guess since Obama’s staged productions didn’t take place at two in the morning, Hallie didn’t see the overt productions as “striking.”

But it was CNN’s commentary on this monumental event that really took the cake.

I’ve said before that for the Fake News media, anything presidential that Donald Trump does will be spun as a distraction.

They’re idiots that way.

But as I watched that clip, I realized something that I don’t think CNN meant for us to discover.

Despite their wall-to-wall coverage of Stormy Daniels and Robert Mueller, Donald Trump just keeps going.

They’re admitting here that the so-called “news” that they’re covering in hopes of destroying Trump’s presidency has failed to make a dent.

In other words, the news media has become impotent and ineffectual.

For eighteen months now, the only objective these people had was to demoralize President Trump to the point where he becomes a lame duck in his first term.

But every single thing they’ve thrown at him has failed to demoralize him.

While they have been impotent and ineffectual, President Trump continues to get things done.

Despite the endless barrage of attacks, Mr. Trump – like the Energizer Bunny – just keeps going and going and going…

Here they made the conscious choice to badger and assault this President to the point where he became impotent and ineffectual.

And in typical “I’m rubber, you’re glue” Trump fashion, it bounced back on them.

The fact is they don’t really think that pulling out of the Iran Deal or the pending negotiations with North Korea are “distractions.”

That’s a lie.

President Trump isn’t the one peddling distractions. That would be the media.

And they aren’t trying to distract us; they’re trying to distract him.

They want President Trump so discombobulated that he cannot do his job.

And it ain’t working, my friends.

Trump’s favorability is climbing. Our economy is growing.

And his successes are self-evident.

He just keeps going and going and going.

Meanwhile, the news media frets and complains that they have no power over him.

But of course they don’t.

As Rush has pointed out in the past, the media created Barack Obama.

But they didn’t create Trump.

And you cannot destroy what you did not create.

After nearly three years of trying every tactic they know to bring this man down, they’ve failed.

But rather than accept the fact that they are impotent and ineffectual, they just keep going back to the same well expecting different results.

It must be very frustrating.

Like the rest of the ResistanceLOL, the news media is doing nothing but screaming helplessly at the sky.

And I think it’s beginning to dawn on them that nobody is listening.

they will take him out one way or another, and when they do, lock and load

I disagree. You are giving the press far more power than they’ve earned. They want to take him out to be sure. But they can’t. Trump’s successes are too far-reaching. He’s accomplished too much. Americans aren’t retarded. The media have about as much effect on Trump as the crashing waves of the ocean. Everything they do slides off of him like he’s been Scotch-Guarded. And because they refuse to give up, they just keep discrediting themselves.

Naw. Disagree. Already tide is beginning to turn. I say they will fail. Now, whether or not they will pay….?

I keep watching the various press briefings, which have become a farce due to a complete lack of civility from the “fake reporters” and their lack of any journalistic standards. Presented without comment from from yesterday’s gaggle:

Q The way the President described it this morning — used the word “excellent” in the release, I’m wondering whether that’s going to encourage others to kidnap Americans so they’ll be — get something when they release them. Because they were kidnapped by North Korea.

MR. SHAH: I’m sorry, I’m wondering what is your question there?

Q My question is, the tone that the President set in thanking the person who actually did the kidnapping of Americans. So will that encourage more?

MR. SHAH: Look, the President is obviously — and the whole nation should be pleased with the release of these three Americans.

They would rather be asked to donate a kidney than to say anything positive about this president.

The mainstream media just admitted that they have lost all influence on the WH and most of the population of the U.S. Now, they’re just throwing a tantrum.
