Uh-oh. The House Intelligence Committee has ended their 14-month investigation into RussiaGate and the traveling Adam Schiff Show might be at an end.
Hey, them’s the breaks in television.
Schiff spent all that time exploiting his position on the Intelligence Committee to make himself a household name.
And will the end of this investigation mean the end of the Adam Schiff Show?
Such a shame. Over two hundred and twenty-five TV appearances down the drain.
Has anybody amassed that much TV time in the last year?
Okay, Stormy Daniels is nipping at Adam’s heels. But the only way she can top him is if CNN makes her their morning weather girl.
Then again, maybe I shouldn’t give them any ideas.
Over at the Washington Examiner yesterday, Pete Kasperowicz mourned the end of the Adam Schiff Show:
“Schiff was outraged at the decision, and made it clear that Democrats would continue to plug away at their collusion theory because Republicans left ‘questions unanswered.’ But Nunes’ move will likely marginalize those efforts, which left some gleeful Republicans predicting they might soon be seeing less of Schiff on TV.
“’If Schiff stopped going on TV to talk about his Russia collusion conspiracy theory, he’d free up an unbelievable amount of time,’ one congressional Republican official said. ‘Maybe he could use it to track down who killed Jimmy Hoffa or chase UFOs.’
“Another senior GOP aide joked that ending the probe ‘will hit cable TV bookers the hardest.’”
Frankly I’m surprised the Adam Schiff Show lasted as long as it did.
After all, typically when you have a face made for radio, TV people just aren’t that interested in you.
Of course cable news outlets and Sunday morning shows were willing overlook this bug-eyed gremlin’s lack of camera-savvy for no other reason than he leaked like a sieve.
So what’s Adam’s next move?
Will he launch a touring strip show to keep his face in the news?
Or will he stick with what he knows and continue offering half-true leaks to anyone willing to keep the Adam Schiff Show going?
