I owe you all an apology.
Last summer I promoted Joy Villa’s single “Make America Great Again.” And I’m sorry.
I got played.
Now, granted, I wasn’t the only one who got played by Joy Villa. She snowed a lot of people with her “Look at me! I’m a Trump supporter!” shtick.
I know I’m not alone.
But I absolutely hate being played.
Here’s why I owe you an apology.
I began to suspect that Joy Villa was playing Trump supporters back in September. But I didn’t say anything. All I did was stop following her on Twitter. And I really should have said something.
See, I started seeing the red flags after Hurricane Harvey slammed into Texas.
Villa took to Twitter and conducted a poll asking her supporters whether or not she should travel to Houston to help with hurricane relief.
Call me cynical, but I found that inappropriate.
If you feel called to offer your help, you just go. You don’t run a poll on Twitter to see if your fans support the idea.
To me, this was Villa gauging whether or not volunteering would be worthwhile publicity for her.
And I hate publicity whores.
Then when she polled her Twitter followers to find out if she should run for Congress and from what state, I had enough. I dropped her like a hot rock.
Not long after that, I started seeing rumblings on Twitter about Villa’s embrace of Scientology – specifically from Vinnie James. And I thought to myself, “Boy, I’m glad I stopped following her.”
But I should have said something to you guys. I should have said something stinks about Joy Villa’s supposed embrace of MAGA.
But I didn’t. And for that, I’m sorry.
Joy Villa is not #MAGA.
I was sitting at breakfast last week at #SAS2017 with a prominent conservative, when Villa’s manager approached us and told us he dropped her as a client that morning.
Said Scientology pretty much dictates her actions and implied that’s she’s a fake. https://t.co/KLbkSLIyv3

We got played.
Villa got exposed as a fraud and now is grasping to regain relevance.
So it’s not surprising to me that Joy Villa is making news again.
No, she didn’t wear an Covfefe gown to an awards show.
Instead, she is hopping like an attention whore onto the #MeToo movement.
Hey, anything to keep her name and face in the news, right?
Villa now claims that Corey Lewandowski “sexually assaulted” her.
And by “sexually assaulted,” I mean, he (in Villa’s own words) slapped her on the ass.
I’m sorry. An ass slap is not sexual assault. It’s rude and obnoxious, sure. But it isn’t sexual assault.
But hey. All the other women who are glomming on to “MeToo” are getting loads of attention, right? Hell, they even got Time’s Person of the Year.
Can you blame Villa for trying to grab that brass ring?
Villa is actually filing a criminal complaint with the DC police over Lewandowski slapping her on the ass.
If I were a cop and a woman accused a man of sexual assault for slapping her butt, I’d have a hard time not laughing her out of the precinct.
Clearly Villa is desperate to regain the fan-base she lost when Trump supporters began to see through her con.
And trust me, she’s lost a lot. Including her former friend conservative singer and former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones.
I hope little miss attention whore knows that if she’s lying to the court with filing this she could end up in jail. Hope your listening to people who also aren’t under investigation there Miss joy.

What’s a gal to do?
She’s losing the support from the MAGA folks. And, let’s face it, most of the Trump haters hate Villa for glomming on to the MAGA movement – however shameless and phony it might have been.
The only way to get the Trump haters to overlook her previous publicity stunt is to make this publicity stunt even bigger.
And what’s bigger than accusing the former Trump campaign manager of “sexual assault” for slapping you on the butt?
And for the weak-minded race mongers, apparently, Joy’s latest attention-grab is working like a charm.
Shout out to my sista Joy Villa for infiltrating those (suspected) white supremacist circles and exposing some of those people ✊🏿 https://t.co/dQlApPC49B

Remember when I said this about Joy Villa? Now she's gone and done it. And it didn't even take a year. Please, PLEASE retweet these tweets about Joy Villa. It's time for us all to stop "giving her the benefit of the doubt." The evidence of her deception is crystal clear. -VJ pic.twitter.com/Ig8BkdjcHE

Ugh. Every single time I think of the fact that she played me, I just cringe. I hate being played by opportunistic parasites.
And Joy Villa played us.
As the old saying goes, fool me once, shame on you…
Well, let’s just say I won’t get fooled again.
