Judge Kavanaugh’s righteous anger

righteous anger

In the interests of full disclosure, I did not watch the testimony of the Democrat-funded accuser at yesterday’s Senate hearing.

I couldn’t bring myself to watch that circus.

The truth is, I have spent the last week or so in a blind rage – which isn’t a particularly pleasant place to be.

I used to be a Democrat. But what horrified me enough to drive me away from that party over a decade ago pales in comparison to the antics, character assassination and ugliness of what we’ve witnessed from the Democrats in the last several weeks.

It is especially infuriating that my two Senators are Chuck Schumer and that wretched, horrible creature Kirsten Gillibrand. Can you imagine being a New Yorker and having to call those two awful people? Do you know what’s it’s like to be met with condescension and irritation by the staffers who answer that call?

I’ve been watching one of my Senators jettison the Constitutional right to due process and justify it on the Senate floor.

And my anger has grown.

So as yesterday’s hearing began, I couldn’t bring myself to endure it.

Instead, I found an outlet for the rising anger that has plagued me for two weeks now. I went outside and did some landscape work. Amazing how boiling rage can counteract the limits of Lupus. I even had the strength to pull a half-dead shrub out of the ground with my bear hands.

And when I finished up, I came inside and I prayed.

I prayed that God would lift from me this anger and give me peace – that peace of God that transcends all understanding. I prayed for Judge Kavanaugh and his family. I prayed for wisdom, justice, and truth – that despite this circus, God’s grace would be revealed.

And when I got back to my office, I heard a portion of the hearing on Rush Limbaugh’s show. But my anger started bubbling up again, so I shut it off.

I highly doubt I’m the only person in the country who is furious about what is happening to Brett Kavanaugh and his family.

I wouldn’t wish this kind of smear on anyone. And yet the Democrats, their handmaids in the media and powerful Leftwing groups launched this character assassination without a moment’s hesitation.

What kind of people could do that? Are the even made of human parts?

But when Judge Kavanaugh’s testimony began, I watched his opening statement.

And my anger was replaced with pain and sorrow.

I saw the anguish on his wife’s face and I wept.

When he struggled to share his daughter’s desire to pray for Ms. Ford, I couldn’t keep it together.

I asked for God’s grace to be revealed and there it was shining like a beacon from a ten-year-old girl.

Judge Kavanaugh’s anger, his defense of his family – especially his children – wasn’t unhinged; it was righteous anger. It was justifiable.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

But this good man who has had his life torn to shreds by evil people did not stay silent. He did not lie down and let this evil triumph.

Instead, he looked his tormenters in the eye and called them out for what they did to him and his family, and for what they’ve done to our Republic.

He spoke for every single one of us who have watched with disgust as Senate Democrats and their handmaids in the media violated and smeared him.

And, see, this is what both the Democrats and so-called “journalists” fail to grasp.

Judge Kavanaugh’s righteous anger didn’t disgust us.

It is shared by millions of Americans who, by our nature, believe in justice and fairness.

But what was their reaction?

”How DARE he speak to Senators like that!! How disrespectful!!!”

”Look at how angry he is! This just proves he isn’t fit to be on the Court!”

They can lie about him, smear him, slander him, defame him, and unleash unhinged lunatics to threaten him, his wife and his children. But heaven forbid he show any anger over that flagrant injustice.

These people actually believe they can slander, smear and destroy with impunity. And if their target has the temerity to fight back, he’s the one who is being inappropriate.

They really believe that.

And for some inexplicable reason, the Democrats and their handmaids believe the majority of Americans agree with them.

The Democrat Party actually planned and coordinated a hit-job thinking it would make them look good to voters.

And the media, firmly inside their echo chamber, happily played along.

This is how out of touch these cretins are with actual living, breathing Americans.

And I think a hard rain is about to fall.

They wanted to use this smear as a Get Out the Vote Campaign for November.

Well, as the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for.

Because they got what they wanted — just not in the manner they wanted it.

Americans, like Judge Kavanaugh, are angry.

And we will channel that righteous anger into votes to make sure evil people like this never see power again.

Kavanaugh’s character assassination was much worse that Gorsuch’s because Judge K. is yet another conservative heading for the SCOTUS. Each conservative appointment is a stake in the libs’ long-term plan. Wait until Pres. Trump’s next nomination. Yet another relatively young (read long serving) conservative may be the straw that breaks the libs’ backs. Judge Barrett’s treatment by the libs will be even worse than Judge K’s.

These former “moderate” Democrats on the JC have been utterly cowed by their supposed constituents and turned into, as you put it so well, flying monkeys.

The idiots (making believe that they were) grilling Judge K about his drinking habits in school are generally the same crew that for years knew that if you wanted to speak to a lucid Ted Kennedy, you better get it done before 11 am and unless you wanted to get involved in some very inappropriate behavior toward women, stay away from him after 5.

Where was their indignation and disgust regarding drinking and sexual assault then?

As a survivor of sexual assault* myself I am appalled at Democrats, at Ford, at all of them. This was done to save Feinstein’s seat and to save abortion that is in no danger of going away.

*Incidentally my sexual assault took place 33 years ago and I can remember every single detail including person, date, time, circumstances, etc. I can pick this person out of a line up to this day. I find no plausibility in Ford’s story but she is far less appalling than these tyrannical Democrats.

I’m sorry you went through that and had to watch this scam artist make a mockery of women who have been assaulted.

I’ve played that song for years on my guitar, and yes the Democrats are going to see a hard rain fall:

“And what did you hear, my blue-eyed son?
And what did you hear, my darling young one?

I heard the sound of a thunder, it roared out a warnin’
Heard the roar of a wave that could drown the whole world
Heard one person starve, I heard many people laughin…

    And it’s a hard, and it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard

    And it’s a hard rain’s a-gonna fall

I am so glad the judge ripped those Democrat senators yesterday. It was needed and long overdue. And kudos to Lindsey Graham (who I will NEVER denigrate again) for his tremendous assault on those disgusting Democrats.

Small sidebar: Mike Gallagher reported this morning that Alyssa Milano was removed from the chambers yesterday because she was using her phone AND taking pictures, which is against the chamber rules. Typical liberal, doing what she should not be doing.

God bless Kavanaugh and his family.

We are called to be faithful in the Great Commission, trusting that God by his sovereign, supernatural grace will spread his redemptive reign to every tribe, tongue, and nation.

So, what are we asking when we say “your kingdom come”? We are asking for something wonderful and something dangerous all at the same time:

We are praying that history would be brought to a close.
We are praying to see all the nations rejoice in the glory of God.
We are praying to see Christ honored as King in every human heart.
We are praying to see Satan bound, evil vanquished, death no more.
We are praying to see the mercy of God demonstrated in the full justification and acquittal of sinners through the shed blood of the crucified and resurrected Christ.
We are praying to see the wrath of God poured out upon sin.
We are praying to see every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
We are praying to see a New Jerusalem, a new heaven, a new earth, a new creation.
This is indeed a radical prayer. We must not take this petition lightly. But, as we have seen, this petition also carries great hope. Our God will come to save us and bring us to know the fullness of his grace in the final revelation of his kingdom. To that end, we pray.

    Bravo, Dianny.

Side note: I am so, so curious about Sen. Graham growing a pair right after McCain died. A noodle-for-a-spine is suddenly one of the strongest voices??

No one asked Ford if she was angry at having been publicly outed. No one asked Feinstein if she has launched an internal investigation into who outed Ford.

Clearly the democrats want their way and they don’t care who they have to destroy to achieve their ends.

The toxicity of false accusations has tainted the entire process. We’ve been here before. Their playbook is all played out.
People are opening their eyes to the hypocrisy of the Left’s condemnation EVERY single time.
These people are evil snakes who should never acquire power again.

Democrats should be ashamed at what they did to Judge Kavanaugh and his family. When they all meet their Maker I hope judgement is swift and brutal. May they all rot in hell for all eternity.

My week paralleled y’alls……I have spent it in deep intercessory prayer ( I call it throwing anvils at the Gates of Heaven) it is hard, tough work, but worth it to lift this wonderful family to the Lord, May He protect them and keep them in the days, weeks, years to come, because you know this will never stop, and Ashley and the girls will be threatened every day for the rest of their lives. It’s not over till the dems say it is over, and I don’t see their fat lady singing any time soon (btw dianny my two senators are kaine and warner, so I know what you go through)

The Dems launched this smear campaign thinking Kavanaugh would fold and withdraw. When that didn’t happen, they doubled down not knowing what else to do.

If there is any justice in this world, the Dems will pay for this on Nov 4. Every American should vote straight R down the ballot, from US Senate right down to county dog catcher! The entire Dem party should pay for what the Dems in the US Senate and their Handmaid media have done these past two weeks.
