Jussie is having an aggressively bad month

Jussie is having an aggressively bad month

I tried to conjure up what possible justification Jussie Smollett had for creating a badly produced hoax crime.  And you know what?  I’m coming up empty.

Was he that desperate for attention?

Is it just that Jussie despises Donald Trump and his supporters so deeply that this hatred eclipsed common sense?

Or is he a sociopath?

If reports coming out of Chicago are true, Jussie created and mailed his own hate mail to himself.  And, when that didn’t garner the publicity he desired, Smollett paid two friends to stage a “racist, homophobic hate crime” on him in a pre-selected area with a street surveillance camera.  Sadly for Jussie, the camera pointed in the wrong direction and failed to capture on film his staged “attack.”

Drat his luck!

But who thinks this way?

Who actually rationalizes staging a hate crime, promoting it on social media, then, when the news media run with the story, doubles down and actually sits for an interview on Good Morning America where he repeats his lies through crocodile tears?

You’d have to be a sociopath to even entertain doing something so remarkable brazen.

And when I say Jussie is having an aggressively bad month, I’m not saying that out of pity for the guy.  Everything that’s happening to him appears to be of his own making.

Jussie and Jussie alone is responsible for the predicament he is in today.

If he chose to mail himself “suspicious white powder” in a crudely-made bit of hate mail – nobody forced him to do that.

And if that’s what he did, he’s facing serious Federal charges.

Nobody forced Jussie to concoct an elaborate scheme to paint Trump supporters as evil monsters who prey on gay black men in twenty-below temperatures in the middle of Chicago.

Nobody forced Jussie to sit down with Robin Roberts and repeat the lies on national television.

This aggressively bad month was written, produced, and staged by Jussie Smollett.

His actions cost the city hundreds of manhours and who knows how much money.  And for what?

What possible outcome was Jussie hoping to achieve?

Pity?  Name recognition?

Well, if it’s the latter, he succeeded.

Because, let’s be honest here, who among us even heard of Jussie Smollett before this?

I suppose it’s possible Jussie concocted this fraud to advance the narrative that President Trump has ushered in some sort of dystopian reality filled with red-hat-wearing brownshirts who troll the streets looking for “marginalized” people to victimize.

But if Trump’s America is so devoid of evil, evil meanies that you have to resort to staging your own hate crime, maybe your view of Trump is just a tad outside of reality.

Then again, maybe this was just a publicity stunt gone wrong.

But again, who thinks this way?

Who in his right mind thinks “Hey, I have a great way to increase my name recognition!  I’ll stage an elaborate hoax starring me as the victim!”

Truth is, I have no sympathy for this man.

He set out to prove that there are people in America who so dehumanize and vilify others that they think of nothing but doing harm.

And in that respect, Jussie Smollett proved his point – just not in the way he intended.

Because what Jussie Smollett did was dehumanize and vilify fellow Americans with no thought to the harm he might cause.

And if Smollett finds himself facing criminal charges, he has absolutely nobody to blame but himself.

Just imagine if the camera HAD caught the faux attack. In my opinion it would have set off some very nasty race riots the likes of which we have never seen. He could have gotten people killed. But I’m sure that as long as they were white, it would have been ok. Maybe that was what he wanted.

Hillary was probably thinking the Smollet act was a couple years late. She could have really socked it to the deplorables. But, she is delusional and he is a small bigot.

The motive for the entire fraud is selfishness. Smollet wanted to be known. He wanted fame. His greed and personal motivations caused this entire incident such that it is.

This motive of selfishness is the exact opposite of MAGA. Make American Great Again calls for a nationwide growth and universal celebration of our goodness. Smollet sought to defame a movement for his personal benefit. Whether he had abettors or not makes little difference. His actions have done nothing but set back any notion of working together within our nation for who knows how long.

Possible derangement: “Jussie despises [hates] Donald Trump and [hates] his supporters so deeply that this hatred eclipsed common sense.”

…this hateful delusional state may have enabled him to intentionally, maliciously, and repeatedly perpetrate Hoax Hate Crimes involving and recklessly endangering other people.

Of course, not all the facts may be in yet on this case.

I think he was motivated by DNS and/or Kamala Harris and/or George Soros payola. He’s apparently too stupid to have dreamed this up on his own. My spidey sense was tingling the moment this hit the news…

Think of what obama spent 8 years in the white house doing and there’s really not that much difference. obama was just better at it.
