I gotta admit. I just love Donald Trump.
Yeah, yeah. I know.
A year ago, I didn’t.
But over the last eight months, he won me over.
And now, I just love this guy.
Yesterday, President Trump hosted Great Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May.
Remember all the howling during the election that Donald Trump would embarrass us on the world stage?
Yeah. He didn’t.
In fact, I saw something very Reaganesque about him in this meeting with PM May.
Especially in their joint press conference.
President Trump showed that same charm I loved about Ronald Reagan. He was absolutely good-natured and warm. And it even showed when an antagonist BBC reporter tried to get under his skin.
Watch this exchange with between the BBC’s Laura Kuenssburg and Mr. Trump.
For all the Enslaved Press’ kvetching that Donald Trump is “thin-skinned,” I think he handled that simpering broad’s question really well. He was good-humored and at the same time gave her loaded question the lack of seriousness it richly deserved.
Actually, the UK Daily Mail’s own Katie Hopkins – not your typical Liberal Brit – responded to Kuenssburg’s stupid question like this:
Instantly, my toes curled in shame that she was the voice of Britain on the world stage.
The only consolation was that she did not have an English accent. Actually, Laura, you little Scottish twerp, many of us are delighted about this presidency and need no reassurance at all.
From all reports, President Trump’s meeting with PM May was a ringing success.
In fact, some are even referring to them as the new Reagan and Thatcher.”
Hell, even the BBC is wondering if they are.
One thing I’ve noticed about Mr. Trump.
Whenever people who are doubtful about him actually meet with him, their doubts disappear.
It happened with the union leaders.
It happened with Steve Harvey.
And I think it happened yesterday with Theresa May.
I don’t think this is because President Trump is incapable of presenting himself in a positive way.
Not at all.
I think it’s because those people who meet with him have only been informed by an antagonist Enslaved Press that wants everyone to believe that Donald Trump is some kind of a buffoon and monster.
And when they actually meet him and speak with him, these doubtful people discover that the Donald Trump they’ve heard about in the news bears absolutely no resemblance to the man.
Prime Minister May has invited President and Mrs. Trump to England. And I have no doubt whatsoever that when he goes, our President will do America proud.
I’ll close with Katie Hopkins’ observations about a pending Trump visit.
To accept a state visit to meet the Queen and to keep speaking up for the forgotten, hardworking people who want the very best for the country. I can’t wait.
When he comes to the UK I hope his state visit is loud, brash and proud. And I will enjoy watching the fury on the faces of all those who got the race to the White House so horribly wrong.
On a side note
I know. The 5-second delay getting to PatriotRetort.com is a pain in the ass. I apologize for it.
Unfortunately, it isn’t just the Drudge Report that has to content with vindictive shitpickles who launch DoS attacks. PatriotRetort.com was attacked yesterday.
The inconvenient delay is a security measure to prevent what happened yesterday from happening again.
I am taking steps to increase security without this delay in place. Hopefully that will transpire over the next week.
The silver lining is this. If I’m pissing people off, I must be doing something right.
