Let’s take another trip in the Way-Back Machine

Buckle up, my friends. Let’s take another trip in the Way-Back Machine.

We won’t go far. Just to November 8, 2016.

I mentioned in my previous column that I was inspired to review my posts leading up to election day after reading about Hillary’s interview in New York Magazine.

So I went in the Way-Back Machine and reviewed everything I wrote from mid-October to mid-November.

And one of the posts I wrote on election day featured this splashy, indignant headline from CNN:

I posted that image and wrote:

Well, by saying, “I want to see what happens.”
Earth to CNN: We all want to see what happens. The polls are open. People are voting. Nobody knows who’s going to win. So why shouldn’t Trump want to wait and see what happens?
Donald Trump likes to brag, sure. But he has never ever claimed to be able to see the future.
Yet CNN wants to portray this as somehow nefarious and outrageous.
Because they’re asshats.
Frankly, I’d be interested in what Hillary has to say to the same question.
But nobody’s asking Hillary that, are they?

And guess what?

They never did.

Turns out, it might have been a newsworthy question to ask her given how she’s behaved over the last six months.

I continued:

Hillary and her campaign have spent the last month claiming Russia is trying to rig the election for Trump.
Now, why the hell would they set up such an outlandish narrative?
Well, if I had to guess, I’d say it’s because they want an excuse — in case Trump wins — to kick up a fuss and refuse to concede.

And isn’t that precisely what happened?

We learned last month that Robby Mook and John Podesta concocted the “Russia stole the election” story just 24 hours after Hillary Clinton lost.

Hillary wasn’t going to go gently into that good night.

And she hasn’t, has she?

Yet nobody at CNN is calling Hillary to task for actually doing what they breathlessly accused Donald Trump of before the election ever happened.

We all knew at the time that all this Sturm und Drang over “Will Trump concede?” was boloney.

And even on election day, I knew Hillary would not concede.

No, not because I’m Nostradamus.

I just know Hillary Clinton.

She always accuses her enemies of the very things she does.

It’s called “projection.”

That’s why Hillary can, with a straight face, tell the sycophantic graduates at Wellesley, “When people in power invent their own facts” it marks “the end of a free society.”

Personally, I hope Hillary never stops shoving herself into the spotlight. I would love it if she just keeps complaining, bitching and blaming.

As Rush Limbaugh has pointed out countless times, the more people are exposed to Hillary Clinton, the less they like her.

And her very public, relentless bitching over her loss is bound to blow up in her face like a trick cigar.

But it won’t just hurt Hillary Clinton.

It will hurt the Democrat Party.

As long as Hillary continues to spew her bile and resentment over her loss, she will drag the entire party down with her.

The hope of advancing “new blood” or a “new generation of Democrat leaders” will get mired in the vitriol Hillary is spitting out on a regular basis.

As I said a few weeks ago, Hillary is like the chick who can’t let go when she’s been dumped.

And her penchant for sucking all the oxygen out of the room in order to pick at the scabs of her humiliating defeat will even begin to disgust her most loyal and supportive fans.
