This must be the softer side of Sears

I think we’ve nailed down one of the reasons Sears is hemorrhaging business.

Take a look at what they’re peddling on their website:

Sears

Yes, my friends. This must be the softer side of Sears.

Heaven knows if a department store is sinking into the red, cornering the Social Justice Warrior Market is one sure-fire way to drag it back into the black.

Here’s the “full description” of the anti-Israel shirt available at Sears:

Free Palestine! End Israeli Occupation! Make a statement about the Arab–Israeli conflict with this powerful design. – Women’s V-Neck T-Shirt: This contoured, classic cut v-neck t-shirt has that flattering style that’s sure to turn some heads. It’s great for layering under a sweater or sweatshirt and even better by itself with a pair of jeans.

And because they need the money, Sears adds this:

It’s a good idea to own this one in a few different colors; it’s definitely a go-to item.

I’m surprised they don’t include:
“Great for wearing along with a keffiyeh. The perfect attire when you’re throwing rocks at IDF soldiers or stabbing innocent Israelis. But don’t worry! Even if you don’t go to Israel, this will make a great statement at your next Resistance riot. It’s definitely a go-to item.”

By the way, they don’t sell Confederate T-shirts. I checked.

Don’t get me wrong. Sears is a private company. They can sell whatever the hell they want to.

But something tells me this won’t go over well among the typical Sears shopping demographic.

You’re right that as a private company they can do what they want. Many years ago I went into a (now closed along with the Target across the street) Sears store in McHenry IL and the aisle signs were in Spanish first. Really turned me off. Will still go to Sears for an excellent appliance deal, but that’s about it. SMH
