One-Two Knock-out Punch

When I was a kid, my brother told me to punch in the shoulder as hard as I could.

So I wound up and hit him, not once, not twice, but several times. I really wailed on him. Over and over again, I balled up my little fist and hit him as many times as I could before my hand gave out.

Mark said, “My turn” and landed a single punch on my shoulder.

One punch was all it took for my entire arm to go numb.

Clearly I was outmatched.

Well, in a lot of ways a Twitter fight between Donald Trump and Elizabeth Warren is as much of a mismatch as that stupid “punch my arm” challenge with my brother.

As I mentioned yesterday, Liz went on the Twitter warpath yesterday burping out a thread of over twenty tweets. In tweet after tweet, she repeatedly balled up her little fist and wailed at Trump.

Well, this morning, President Trump said, “My turn.”

And in two tweets, he knocked her to the mat.

Talk about a one-two punch.

Liz going on a twenty-plus Twitter rant didn’t make Donald Trump look bad. It made her look like an unhinged, angry kook caught in a miserable lie who is incapable of accepting the fact that she was caught in a miserable lie.

I said long before the 2016 election, if you’re going to take aim at a rampaging elephant, you better not miss.

Warren missed her target in every single one of the tweets in that hapless Twitter screed.

Despite her shrill bleating about “I will not sit silent!” and “I will not shut up!” Liz is not an effective fighter.

In fact, she could have added another two hundred tweets to that thread and still not landed a single punch.

All it took was two tweets for President Trump to score a knock-out.

At this point, any further flailing on the part of Liz Warren is only going to backfire on her.

But something tells me the only person who doesn’t know that is Elizabeth Warren.

At first, I thought this was going to be a post about “transgendered” males in “women’s” sports.
    The disparities are the same.

I always use “Indian” since being born here I am a native American. I had some woman (nosing in on a conversation) tell me Indian was un PC so I said I’ll call them Redskins or Savages if it makes her feel better. She shut up.

People should immediately be brought up short for calling an American Indian a “Native American”. It’s nonsensical, inaccurate and a stolen phrase that means something completely different from “they got here before you”, which in America is supposed to be meaningless.

Over thirty percent of my high school was Iroquois — specifically Onondaga Nation. They called themselves Indians. It wasn’t until about twenty years later that they started to call themselves “Indigenous people.” But the term they never used was “Native American.” I never heard that term until I heard it from white folks.

Shouldn’t her degree be revoked for using false pretenses to gain admission?
