Period-Shaming: The Democrats sure are tackling the important issues

At last Saturday’s Women’s March disguised as a Teen March against gun violence, signs like this were quite commonplace.

Yes, they were on FIRE!!!!

As in, “Liar, Liar Pants on Fire.”

I don’t know what’s more remarkable. That the ACLU Virginia thought this was actually clever. Or that this young woman probably believes it.

I’ve possessed a uterus for almost fifty-five years and have yet to come across an incident where anyone in the Federal Government has infringed on it.

But no matter.

Clearly young women believe their uteri are overburdened with Government interference.

But if that’s the case, how do you explain this?

The other day the Democrats’ official Twitter account was placed into the hands of New York Congresswoman Grace Meng.

And in her first official tweet for the Official Twitter Account of the Democrats, Meng wrote this:

Um. Access to feminine hygiene products is a problem?

I was just in the local Rite Aid on Tuesday to buy Band-Aids and there’s an entire aisle devoted to feminine hygiene products.

Is she kidding?

But she went on:

Fighting for tampons since 2015!!!

Sounds like she’s got a terrific campaign slogan there.

Did the Democrats turn their official Twitter account over to the Onion?

Golly, what should our Federal Government be focused on?

Securing or borders and stopping the flow of illegal aliens? Or stopping the horrible practice of period-shaming?

Expanding our economy by removing burdensome regulations? Or putting a stop to period-shaming?

Deporting criminal illegals and stopping MS-13? Or standing up against period-shaming?

Reducing Americans’ tax burden and unleashing consumer spending? Or battling against that enemy of mankind, the dreaded period-shaming?

Yup. When it comes to tackling the issues that matter to the American people, the Democrats aren’t just out of touch; they’ve reached the level of parody.

Of all the big issues Grace Meng could have tackled in her moment in the spotlight, and she decides to promote Federal Legislation to regulate the price of feminine hygiene products.

So in other words, Grace wants a government regulation over a product women utilize because they possess a uterus. But I thought my uterus was already overburdened with regulations.

Again, I have possessed a uterus for nearly fifty-five years.

And not once in my adult life have I been prevented from succeeding in our economy because people shamed me for the three days a month I got a visit from my Aunt Flo. In fact, since I usually worked with a ton of guys, I’m betting none of them ever knew when it was my time of the month.

And given the way men tend to get all kinds of embarrassed if a woman mentions she’s on her period, I think it’s safe to say they aren’t inclined to “period-shame” anyone.

But to Grace Meng, this is the issue that is standing in the way of economic “justice” — especially for low-income women.

Good grief.

”Oh, who cares if our economy is growing and consumer confidence is higher than it’s been in more than a decade? I’m paying eight-ninety-nine for a box of thirty tampons and I’m really ashamed about it!!!!”

”My uterus is more regulated than guns! Now why won’t the Federal Government step in and force companies to lower their prices for feminine hygiene products?!”

In the interests of full disclosure, I’m laughing as I write this.

This is why the Democrats should never been allowed to hold power in Washington ever again.

They’re incapable of performing their actual constitutional duties because they waste their time on the most absurd and ridiculous things they can concoct.

If Grace Meng really believes the secret to pulling off their Blue Wave is ridding the country of “period-shaming,” she’s not the brightest star in the Democrat firmament.

But then again, who among them is?

Instead of a blue wave, there will be a red wave. Straight from the vaginas of the liberals who are stretching about the sexist feminist products.

How many more calories per day must a man consume to maintain body weight than a woman?

Compare that with the price of feminine hygiene products.

Government supplied food? That doesn’t sound so appealing.
Government issue feminine hygiene products? Even I’m not that cruel.

Just imagine: A woman gets her period, dials 911. Big burly guy shows up. “I’m from the government and I’m here to help.” 😈 😈 😈

“Golly, what should our Federal Government be focused on”?

Securing our borders or staunching the monthly flow of women?

I agree – we’ve got to do something about access to assault tampons. And who needs more than 10 tampons? Petition your congresscritter today!
