Robert Francis O’Rourke: Manhattan’s Choice for Texas

Ted Cruz’s Democrat challenger keeps flying up to Manhattan to raise money.

Did you notice that?

Because one thing is clear.

If there’s one place that has its finger on the pulse of Texas, it’s Manhattan.

Yup. They really know what’s best for Texans.

Just ask them.

After all, Wendy Davis spent a lot of time raising money in Manhattan as well.

You remember her.

She was the Democrat candidate for Texas Governor in 2014.

And, if you recall, she was the one who would turn Texas blue – with the financial help of her pals in Manhattan.

Remind me again. How’d that work out?

Oh yeah. She lost to Greg Abbott by more than twenty points.

Did you read that poster?

Take a moment to read it.

“• because we need to turn Texas blue”

The “we” in this case refers to Manhattanites who would never be caught dead in Texas.

Why would Texans want folks from Manhattan interfering with their Senate election?

Is it just me or does it appear that the people who are shoving Robert Francis O’Rourke down Texans’ throats all live in Manhattan and Hollywood.

But the other thing about that poster that I find revealing is this bullet point:

“• because Beto O’Rourke should be president someday”

In other words, Robert Francis O’Rourke isn’t particularly interested in serving the people of Texas in the United States Senate.

No. Instead, he is looking to use the state of Texas as a springboard to bigger things – all funded by wealthy elites in Manhattan.

This is something Jesse Kelly has been saying for months.

Like in this tweet:

Actually, if I had to guess, I’d say most of the suckers Jesse refers to here live in Manhattan and Hollywood.

And probably the Leftist transplants living in Austin.

They really do think that pouring money into O’Rourke’s campaign will “turn Texas blue.”

Because, God forbid Texans be allowed to choose their own destiny – that should be left up to their social betters in Manhattan.

And while I’m certain that these fervent supporters of Robert Francis O’Rourke will be voting in November, unfortunately for them, O’Rourke’s name won’t be anywhere on their ballots.

Red states better wise up and make it illegal for candidates running for office in their state to accept money from ANYONE who resides outside of their state. This seems to be the Left’s new tactic – raise money from people in liberal states because there’s not enough financial support from voters in their own red state.

Isn’t it amazing that drunken groping someone at 17 will disqualify you for the Supreme Court if you are conservative, but drunk driving at 23 (or was it 26?) and attempting to flee the scene and blowing a 0.136 is a springboard for president on the left.

Drunken driving is good, but I think you have to drown a girl in your car first if you really want the respect of the left.
