Social norms have changed?

After being pummeled for days over his handsy groping, Joe Robinette Biden Jr. released a painful video on Twitter to explain himself.

Notice I say “explain himself.”  Because the one thing he doesn’t do is, you know, apologize for being a sniffing, fondling creep.

But what really irritates me about Joe’s explanation is his claim that social norms have changed.  And he gets that.

Now, I’m not 76 like Joe Biden.  But I will be 56 in less than three weeks.

Which means I was nine years old when Joe Biden first became a US Senator.

And let me tell you something.  If first-term Senator Biden had sidled up behind me to nuzzle against me while his wandering hands migrated down to my chest, my mother would have punched him in the ‘nads.

Because even in 1972, social norms did not allow for pervy old men to fondle little girls.

Social norms didn’t suddenly change, Joe.

The only thing that changed is now your pervy, disgusting self is in the way. And the Democrats — who for decades covered for your creepy, inappropriate behavior — aren’t doing it anymore.

Here’s his cringy video.  Listen to all the excuses he makes.

It doesn’t escape my notice that Joe downplays the fact that little children have been his primary target.

“I’ve heard what these women are saying?”

Like I said Monday, it’s not the way he acts with adult women that bothers the hell out of me.  It’s the fact that he acts just as pervy with children.

No adult man should be pawing at a child.  What Joe considers “empathy” and “making a connection” is and has always been contrary to social norms.

If gropey, pervy Joe was really as empathetic as he perceives himself to be, he would never think it’s okay to fondle little children.

We’ve all watched the video clips [you can see PJW’s video HERE].

Those little girls look trapped and uncomfortable.

And someone who is truly empathetic would have sensed their discomfort and kept his distance.  But not Joe “making a connection” Biden.

He just plows ahead – forcing little girls to endure his groping, wandering hands while he tries to plant a kiss on their retreating cheeks.

This has nothing to do with social norms changing.

What a vile and silly excuse for decades of inappropriate behavior.

This “let me explain” video is craven and opportunistic.

And the only reason he made it is because Joe is desperately trying to keep his presidential aspirations alive.

So he pretends that social norms used to permit the wholesale fondling of children.

Earth to Joe: This isn’t Afghanistan.  It’s America.

And in America it’s never been okay for some dirty old man to paw at little girls while he snuggles and sniffs them.

This isn’t something that suddenly became inappropriate because social norms have changed.

But like every kid-toucher, Joe is full of excuses.

Good Lord, this creep disgusts me.

On a side note:

I started watching “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” again.  And last night I got to the finale of Season One, “Prophesy Girl” — where Buffy finally meets up with the old Vampire called the Master.

And, maybe because creepy, gropey Joe Biden is in the news, I noticed something:

It is completely creepy. Made me wonder why now? Of course there are many who don’t want him as the candidate, maybe that is the reason. But could it also be because of the scandal that is finally gaining some attention about his son Hunter Biden benefiting in Ukraine with his daddy’s help? Could it be the powers that be want to distract from what is coming out about the Obama administration’s mucking about in foreign elections and the help that Ukraine gave with the “Russian Collusion” narrative?
Just a thought that there could be more to this “smear” campaign than just booting Biden from the 2020 field. They sure didn’t care when he was VP.

This is a great post and I shared it on FB with my friends. How anyone can have an issue with Trump’s comment about women “LETTING” them grab their you know whats and this guy and his out and out PERVY groping and sniffing of children as well as women is beyond me. But then again, most behaviors people with mental disorders are.

People tend to forget that this was normal behavior in DC and not just with Biden. Remember the Kennedy sandwich?

It bothers me more that the Big Media (conservative or otherwise) don’t focus their stories on the kids he’s been groping and or sniffing.

And where’s DOCTOR Jill Biden? Is she okay with this?
As long as Joe’s not touching HER, right? Pfft.

I wonder the same thing. Are they limiting it to women because all they want to do to scare him out of the race? Focusing on his kid-fondling would utterly destroy him and his reputation. And that might blow back on Saint Barack. Just spit-balling. I could be wrong.
