Stealing wealth won’t make one poor person less poor

Given Elizabeth “The Scold” Warren’s call to tax the “Ultra Millionaires” (see my previous post), I thought I should give this Motivational Matt Foley image a bit of an update.

To normal, thinking human beings, this notion that wealthy are evil for the simple fact that they have more money than you is repugnant.

I’ll be honest.  I’m poor as a church mouse.  In fact, most of you guys reading this have more money than I do.

But the Federal Government taxing you into oblivion won’t make me any less poor.

I’m not poor because some dude who owns the Redskins is an “Ultra Millionaire.”

And the fact is, the Federal Government stealing his wealth won’t make me or anyone else one dollar richer.

That’s nothing but fiction.

When the government taxes wealth, the wealthy simply find a way to avoid paying taxes.

And when the little brains in the government can’t get their hands on the “Ultra Millionaires'” wealth to pay their socialist schemes, eventually, they turn their sights on the “non-Ultra Millionaires” to fund their boondoggles.

They never stop at the “tippy-top.”

Because there aren’t enough wealthy people to pay for all their dippy, unworkable schemes.

Speaking of which. You want to see something really hilarious?

No. That’s not the Onion.

It’s the other parody site known as the Washington Post.

The danger today is that far too many Americans believe that wealth confiscation is “fair” and “just.”

They really do think that what the government steals from the rich, it will give to the poor.

But that’s not how it works.

Government steals from the rich to enrich … well … government — and, by extension, the people whose livelihood stems from government (see also Venezuela).

We’ve thrown trillions upon trillions of dollars into the so-called “War on Poverty” over the last fifty-five years.  And you know what, the War was lost.

The Government was the only winner in that boondoggle.

Poverty didn’t end.

But Government itself grew immeasurably.

When 25% of the Federal workforce deemed “non-essential” amounts to 800,000 people, you can see exactly where that wealth confiscation ended up.

This is what we’re up against with the Modern Democrat Socialist Party.

And thanks in large part to an education system that keeps people so stupid they think Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is an economic genius, socialism is no longer the far-Left fringe.

It’s gone mainstream.

And, speaking as someone who is poor, that scares the hell out of me.

Because, as Ronald Reagan famously put it:

“When the government taxes wealth, the wealthy simply find a way to avoid paying taxes.”

See the recent article on Joe and Mike doing their “show” from Florida as proof…

It’s not about helping the poor, it’s about punishing the folks who studied in school, worked hard, and saved their money!!

But just look at all the FREE things that some (read: probably most) Dem candidates think the government should provide!

How is the GOVERNMENT going to accomplish giving away so many free things if the government does not re-distribute all accumulation of wealth through taxation? Okay, that might be hyperbole. The government needs some tax revenue for appropriate things the government should provide.

However, not everyone can have a beach house.

Most (non-Dem) people that have lived beyond grade school know that life is NOT fair– and likely will NEVER become fair in this mortal life. And I think Reagan’s nine most terrifying words ring very true when considering free things from the government, “I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”

The pathology of these leftist retards has them convinced that all money belongs to them and it is only through their benevolence that they allow you to keep some of what you earn.
i have always maintained that the democrat philosophy is simple: take money from people who won’t vote for you to buy voted from people who will. It’s no more complicated than that.p

Envy is such an ugly sin and is one that weak and useless people embody.

To covet another’s accomplishments is to demonstrate the lack of your own. The left fires up this movement of hatred and envy because the intended audience lacks the moral understanding that would stop them from believing the notion.

As a society we have made the determination to ignore and avoid the virtues of maturity and good lifestyle choices and have decided to play to the lowest common denominator in our society and worse yet, identify that these people are to be admired for their supposed ‘uniqueness and neediness’. We reward sloth, bad habits and poor lifestyle choices with the largesse derived from those who are the antithesis of same.

All of this class against class vitriol is by design so the left can formally institute socialism supposedly to eliminate the conflict with a system that both the poor and the elite (Hollywood types along with the tech moguls) will agree to. Little do both know that once the massive new government regime is established to ‘regulate’ this aspect of society, the ability to improve your station in life will become almost impossible by design. The moral: The elite get more and more powerful while the average citizen becomes less and less so.

If you confiscate the total wealth of the top 1%, it couldn’t fund the US government for a full year … and you would totally collapse the economy.

Dianny, Bill Whittle did a fun video (it was a Firewall) a few years back where he basically showed that if you confiscated ALL the wealth of the “wealthy”, you couldn’t fund the government for a full year. So what do you do then?
