Tens of dollars

Tens of dollars

In their never-ending quest to prove they’re nothing but a bunch of lunatic conspiracy theorists, the New York Times is reporting that President Trump is pushing hydroxychloroquine because he has a financial stake in one of the companies that manufactures it.

Yup, President Trump wants patients with Wuhan virus to have access to hydroxychloroquine because he stands to make tens of dollars off of it.

The New York Times really blew the lid off this one, didn’t they?!

Then again the Times is just another sufferer of Hydroxychloroquine Derangement Syndrome.

They actually want you to believe that it’s the prospect of gaining tens of dollars – not saving American lives — that’s the motivation behind President Trump’s support of hospitals using hydroxychloroquine on Wuhan patients.

According to MarketWatch, President Trump’s personal stake in this one pharmaceutical company is, at the most, $1,485 and at the least, $99.00.

I’m thinking that’s pocket change to President Trump.

He probably loses more money between the couch cushions than he has invested in Sanofi.

To believe that he stands to see much of a gain is comical.

Plus, as MarketWatch points out:

Another point worth making is how little the malaria drug means to Sanofi’s bottom line. In 2019, what the company calls Plaquenil wasn’t even broken out by name in the company’s financial accounts, while 33 other medications were.

That is hardly surprising as the drug has been around since the 1950s and is available generically.

Generic for seventy years. I mean come on!

I can tell you pharmacies around here don’t carry the brand name Plaquenil.  Why should they order that when generic versions of hydroxychloroquine sulfate are so plentiful and cheap?

What kind of a nitwit would believe that Trump is going to all this trouble for a personal stake of less than fifteen hundred dollars in a company that makes the brand name Plaquenil?

Two manufacturers of the generic — Novartis and Teva — are donating millions of doses of hydroxychloroquine in the fight against the Wuhan virus.  Novartis is donating one hundred and thirty million doses — Teva another ten million doses.

In other words, there’s no windfall coming Trump’s way. Not even tens of dollars.

You would have to be a quarter-wit to think Trump is doing this for the money.

But that isn’t stopping the New York Times, is it?

See, this is what I mean when I say that the news media has created a mythical Trump Monster.  Their mythical version of Trump bears no resemblance to the real man.

Sweet merciful Zeus! The real Donald Trump donates his Presidential salary every quarter.  That’s more than a million bucks he’s donated back to the Federal Treasury so far this term.

But they actually want us to believe that this same man who is donating his salary is hawking hydroxychloroquine for pocket change?

It’s laughable.

And yet.

The slack-jawed, Trump-deranged nitwits of the ResistanceLOL are falling for it.  You should read the replies to Kyle Griffin’s tweet.  These guys are gobbling this up like a half-starved hyena going after a carcass.

Then again, the ResistanceLOL will fall for every stupid hit piece that comes over the transom. Anything to feed their Trump-hating addiction.

Only 25 percent of nit- wits believe the LameStreamMedia. The other 75 percent are living in reality. They are losing and it shows.

We are in a battle for our children’s lives, old folk. They know nothing due to us. Media is their teat and we are responsible. Sharpen up old ones, our children need us now, as then, when we failed them.

Dear Dems, as much as I hate to say it, PLEASE KEEP DOING THIS CRAZY STUFF ! While I do, in fact, worry about your collective sanity, I’m feeling more and more confident every day about the re-election of Donald the Magnificent.
Quick story: 4-5 years ago, my wife was as politically agnostic as you could be. Totally didn’t care about DC/national politics. If events didn’t directly effect us and our large family, she didn’t care. However, in 2016, even she started to notice the sheer nastiness being directed towards Trump individually and to his campaign.
Long story short, she has become as big a defender of DJT as anyone.
I love her more every day !!!!

I must say Dianny—-that made me laugh out loud in my not-so-enthusiastic self-containment! I live alone and have found that I have not only completed my ENTIRE honey-do list, but have searched for things to do! Long forgotten hobbies are resurfacing and am asking friendly neighbors (by text mind you) if they have any huge puzzles I can work on that they can leave at my door! I have been able to pass off a few that way too…
What have you all been up to?

I guess we would know a lot more about Donald’s investments if…gee…let me think….oh yeah…IF he thought it somewhat correct to release his taxes. But, no. He is too busy being “magnificent” in the eyes of your followers to take a few minutes to tell a few minions, “Gee, I have nothing to hide. Let’s get this done.” Or? Or? You can always count on the ignorance of a few people…or in this case, a mighty few. Still not believing that COVID19 is a real threat to your health? GREAT! I suggest that you go down to your local hospitals and volunteer your time and energy. Forget about stalking the Lamestream Media – put some walk in your talk. Here’s your chance to show some REAL patriotism. And by all means, DON’T wear a mask! That’s so LAME-DEMOCRATIC, right?? Can’t wait to hear from you medical specialists after you’ve completed your COVID training.

Who says “lamestream media” anymore? Just a guess, but you have never met anyone in real life who thinks or says the things you describe, have you? Don’t feel bad. I’ve never met anyone in real life who thinks that way either. Hate to break your bubble here, but your fictional “Trump follower” doesn’t exist. But have fun tilting at pretend people. It must bring you joy. Otherwise, why would you bother? — Dianny

So, instead of his making, maybe, tens of dollars, we should wait, while people suffer, until they come up with some new, expensive drug they have to recover the research costs for, and that way maybe he can make some real money? Ya, that makes sense. No matter what drug they come up with, someone is gonna make something off it….unless of course, it’s something generic that some companies are willing to give away a few doses. Maybe that’s the real thing going on, they don’t really care that Trump may make a buck or two from that investment. The truth is these idjuts have their own investments, and unless someone develops some new drug that they can charge lots of money for, they aren’t going to profit themselves.
