The Avenatti Saga is an indictment of the media

The Avenatti Saga is an indictment of the media

Whelp, the Avenatti Saga took another hardly-unexpected turn yesterday when the SDNY leveled even more charges against the Creepy Porn Lawyer.

This time, Shyster Mike is being charged with defrauding Stormy Daniels.

Is anybody surprised?

Like I said back in April, I’m really am beginning to believe in the Trump Curse.

Anybody with two brain cells to rub together knew the Avenatti Saga would end with this Shyster in deep legal trouble.

Which explains why the slobbering fangirls at MSNBC, CNN and the View missed it completely.

Their brain cells are so fried from Trump Derangement Syndrome, they couldn’t see the painfully obvious: Avenatti is a wrong dude.

This morning, the first thing I did was go to Fox News and check out Tucker Carlson’s show from last night.  I just knew Tucker was going to have a segment on the Creepy Porn Lawyer.  After all, he was one of the few cable news hosts to call out this fraud.

And sure enough, I was right.

As Tucker’s guest Melissa Francis so aptly points out, had the news media not fluffed this guy up the way they did, CPL just might have gotten away with his crimes.

Now, don’t get me wrong, Avenatti bears the blame for being such a crook.  I’m not absolving him.

But the Avenatti Saga is no doubt an indictment of the news media

When your reputation depends on maintaining the trust of the public, getting something so terribly wrong is damning. Especially when you completely miss something so blazingly obvious.

It’s kind of difficult to rail against President Trump calling you Fake News when you promote and celebrate such a despicable creature as Michael Avenatti.  For Pete’s sake, they were even applauding Avenatti’s ridiculous plan to run for President.

Good grief.  These people made complete idiots of themselves. All because their hatred for Donald Trump has rendered them deaf, dumb and blind.

I admit. I find it endlessly entertaining watching these morons end up with egg on their faces.

And thanks to the election of Donald Trump, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to be endlessly entertained.

I said the other day that the best thing Donald Trump has done as President is expose these frauds.  Hell, he didn’t even have to put in much effort to do it.  If the Avenatti Saga taught us anything, it’s that the idiots in the news media are more than happy to expose themselves.

And in addition to being exposed as ugly, hateful and stupid, we now see, thanks to the Avenatti Saga, that they are really horrible judges of character.

The title of the article should really read:

“The Avenatti Saga is yet another indictment of the media.”

This morning as I watched mika soberly intone the latest revelation of avenatti’s crimes, I couldn’t help but remember that just a few short months ago he was the darling of MSNBC, appeared live nearly daily, was touted as a possible presidential contender, and was celebrated as a hero.

Find a place on the gallows for Mike next to Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Hillary and, just for the hell of it, Smollett.
