This morning, I watched the latest Project Veritas exposé on the Beto Campaign with jaw-dropping incredulity.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
Now, Project Veritas’ latest series “Secrets and Lies” has exposed some pretty galling stuff. But what it exposed about the Beto Campaign isn’t just galling; it’s straight up illegal.
Spending campaign cash on illegal aliens (AKA “migrants”) and lying about it to keep the FEC from finding out?
It’s both shocking and, oddly enough, not at all shocking.
This is what you get when your campaign staff are twenty-something know-nothings too self-absorbed and self-important to care if they break the law.
And is it me, or does anybody else find it a little unnerving that in every single one of these Project Veritas exposés, the campaign staffers can’t make it through a sentence without using the word “Like” about sixty thousand times?
But that’s neither here nor there.
The Beto Campaign is spending campaign cash illegally.
You’d think this would be a big, BIG story.
I did a search of CNN’s website for “Project Veritas” and the most recent story is from November 2017. That was when a Project Veritas journalist was outed trying to get the Washington Post to bite on a supposed “Roy Moore accuser” story.
CNN was all over that because it was a failure.
But when Project Veritas actually hits pay dirt, CNN pretends they do not exist.
In fact, I checked with CNN’s twitter feed to see if they have tweeted about Project Veritas.
They didn’t report on any of the recent exposés – not Tennessee, not Missouri, not Arizona, not North Dakota and not Florida.
So I’m not at all surprised that they aren’t reporting on the illegal shenanigans of the Beto Campaign.
Of course, that might be because CNN is super busy reporting on White House advisor Stephen Miller’s uncle’s opinion of his nephew’s boss’s immigration policy.

I eagerly await the breaking story about Stephen Miller’s best friend’s mother’s hairdresser’s opinion on President Trump’s trade policy. I’m sure that will be Pulitzer material.
If you haven’t yet seen the Project Veritas report on the Beto Campaign, here it is.
Prepare yourself. Because it will leave you furious. Doubly furious when you stop and consider that a supposed “Real News” outlet won’t touch it with a ten foot pole.
