President Trump held a rally in West Virginia last night.
Did you see it? If you didn’t, I’ve included the video at the end of this post.
The excitement, enthusiasm and the roars of the crowd were spectacular.
And of course, the Smirking Class did what they always do.
They attacked, besmirched and insulted the people in the crowd.
Here’s one of the nicer tweets I found.
Lots of people in West Virginia can't support themselves or speak English.

I’ll spare you the more hateful tweets. But here’s the gist:
West Virginia is full of Kool-Aid-drinking gapped-toothed yahoos who can marry their sister. They’re too stupid to know what’s good for them. No wonder they voted for Trump.
I was going to write about his rally last night, but then decided I needed to mull over what I wanted to say.
And in the wee hours of the morning, I remembered the quote promoting Ann Coulter’s book In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!:
Donald Trump isn’t a politician — he’s a one-man wrecking ball against our dysfunctional and corrupt establishment. We’re about to see the deluxe version of the left’s favorite theme: Vote for us or we’ll call you stupid. It’s the working class against the smirking class.
And that’s it in a nutshell.
Do you know why the Left and the Media despise Donald J. Trump?
It isn’t because they think he’s a fascist. And it has nothing to do with Russia.
No. They despise Donald Trump because he reinvigorated a segment of the country who had given up on voting.
More importantly, he reinvigorated a segment of the country the Smirking Class didn’t want voting.
In late 2011 Rush Limbaugh pointed out a story in the New York Times by Thomas Edsall in which Edsall wrote that the Obama campaign made the conscious decision to write off white working class voters.
For Obama, this strategy worked because the Republicans nominated a squishy, cosmopolitan RINO to run against him.
So white working class voters did as they were expected. They stayed home.
In June 2015, the New York Times reported that Hillary would use the same strategy Obama did.
Screw the white working class. She was going after the Obama coalition of minorities and women.
And had things gone according to plan, she would have won.
If the GOP had nominated Jeb Bush as the Smirking Class had planned, the white working class would have stayed home again.
But that didn’t happen.
Instead, Donald Trump won the nomination.
And the tens of millions of working class voters who had given up came roaring back again.
Instead of being demoralized, they were energized.
And let’s be honest. The Democrats can’t win when working class voters are energized.
And that’s why the Smirking Class hates Donald Trump.
He reinvigorated a large group of Americans that the Smirking Class successfully silenced through the crushing weight of indifference.
I touched on this back on October 8, 2016 in my column This is why they fear Trump:
They fear Donald Trump. But I don’t think it’s what he wants to do in office that has them so terrified.
I think it’s what he’s already done.
I believe that one of the things that the Enslaved Press and both political parties bank on is voter apathy.
Let’s face it. If a large plurality of the American population is indifferent to voting, whom does that benefit?
It benefits the status quo.
It is far easier for an incumbent to win reelection when the number of people voting isn’t high. There’s less of a chance for an unexpected outcome, you know?
When people give up on voting out of a belief that it doesn’t change anything, those who hold power maintain a certain level of comfort that their power is safe. Because nothing changes if nothing changes.
The silencing of the working class was not a byproduct; it was the goal.
And it had been working splendidly until Donald Trump came along.
Hillary’s condescending sneer about Trump’s supporters being deplorable isn’t a one-off.
They all feel that way – every one of them.
And they don’t want you voting because you get in the way because you threaten the status quo.
So they dispirit you, insult you, ignore you and hope you become so discouraged you decide to give up on our democratic process and stay home.
It has been the single greatest example of passive/aggressive voter suppression in our nation’s history.
And believe me, they tried to suppress your vote in 2016.
Well, that’s easy. They tried it through rigged polling, non-stop negative reporting, and of course, the endless talk that Hillary Clinton’s victory was a certainty.
A couple weeks before the election, in a column titled Vote, I wrote:
The goal of the Enslaved Press and opinion polling is to create an air of inevitability around Hillary Clinton. Their hope is to dispirit you – to leave you feeling as if your vote will make no difference.
They want you to give up and stay home on November 8. Because that’s the only way Hillary Clinton can win.
But they’ve miscalculated. Their ability to sway you into staying home in defeat rests solely in how much voters trust what the Enslaved Press says.
And we don’t trust them anymore.
At the end of my column, I closed by saying this:
The Enslaved Press may want to deny it, my friends, but there are more of us. And the best way to prove that to them is to vote.
No matter what.
At the end of all of this, the truth is, you and I have more power over the outcome of this election than any poll or any “It’s Over” news report from the Enslaved Press.
We are the last surprise.
They want to marginalize you – to make you feel as though you are in the minority.
So they insult you, demean you, dismiss you – all in hopes that you simply stay home and stay quiet.
But Donald Trump changed all that.
He began a movement. Or, as they saying goes, he awakened the sleeping giant.
And the insufferable Smirking Class despises him for it.
This is why they want to get rid of him.
Their hatred for you and their anger over failing to silence you is motivating all of it.
And the fact that they’re stepping up their attacks on ordinary Americans means they have lost control.
So stay invigorated. And wear their insults as a badge of honor.
We are the ones who are defeating the status quo.
President Trump was right on last night when he said, “We didn’t win the election because of Russia. We won the election because of you.”
We, the last surprise, are the ones who are taking our country back.
And the louder and more vicious their attacks become, the clearer it is that we are winning.
