Was teacher Greg Pittman behind Kashuv getting in trouble?
I mentioned a couple days ago the incident from Monday when Parkland student Kyle Kashuv was sent to the security office for posting video and pictures of his trip to the gun range over the weekend.
And though I think it’s possible Kyle may have exaggerated his Gitmo-level interrogation a bit for dramatic effect, there is no doubt he was sent there. Likewise, there is no doubt that he was questioned by a sheriff’s deputy without a parent present.
Any old how.
In that post from Monday, I posited this scenario:
The anti-gun kids saw those tweets, and, because they’re vindictive teenagers, decided to report them to the school while painting themselves as triggered and traumatized by them.
Then school administrators, who are trying to live down their own incompetence, felt they had to follow up on the complaints so as not to look even more incompetent.
So they called Kashuv in to address the complaints.
It’s unsurprising. After all, not doing anything about repeated warnings over Nikolas Cruz resulted in the deaths of seventeen people. I’m sure they’d like to avoid that in the future.
And as a result, vindictive children with a grudge can abuse the school’s hyper-vigilance and need to overcompensate to their own advantage.
That sounds entirely plausible to me.
Well, the more we learn about this incident, the more plausible that scenario becomes.
Yesterday, Kashuv tweeted out the report from the Broward County Sheriff’s office regarding his questioning.
Odd that a law enforcement officer doesn’t know how to spell rifle. But that’s neither here nor there.
This is what caught my eye:
“There were students concerned about the video.”
Yeah, I bet there were. And I bet they were the anti-gun kids who absolutely hate the fact that Kyle’s very existence is totally ruining the narrative. So they decided to get Kyle into trouble by reporting him.
As I said on Monday:
After all, these anti-gun kids admitted to bullying Nikolas Cruz. So we already know they’re vindictive and cruel. Plus, their own over-the-top, hyperbolic statements — not only about their experience but about the NRA — already show that they are prone to being overly dramatic.
So I have no problem believing they reported Kyle’s tweets to the school.
Now, I’m going to posit another scenario.
The thoroughly indoctrinated children were encouraged to make a stink over those tweets by at least one of their indoctrinating teachers.
What makes me think this?
Well, MSDHS history teacher Greg Pittman wasted no time going after Kashuv on Twitter and battling with anyone who defended Kyle.
As a teacher from Stoneman Douglas that had coworkers & students hunted & shot from room to room, I want & so do other teachers at Douglas want any potential threats checked out. I don’t think you would want to experience what any of us did that day. #NeverAgain

The problem is when this is posted to twitter or social media by a student that goes to school where there was just a mass shooting would cause security & the sheriff’s office to check it out. If you don’t get it that is fine, just argue with no facts.

Did you also hear only one attention seeking student posted photos holding assault weapons on social media in Parkland after a mass shooting at Douglas High and sheriff checked it out? Really. Attention seeking kids..anything for attention

There’s plenty more like that.
I read through all of his tweets and got the distinct impression Pittman was feeling a wee bit defensive.
Now, I could be wrong.
But given his reaction, I can’t help but wonder if Pittman encouraged students to report Kyle for posting these tweets.
In fact, it also wouldn’t surprise me to learn that Greg Pittman is one of the indoctrinating forces behind the anti-gun Parkland kids.
You know, those “attention-seeking” students who have been getting high on media attention for more than two months.
Odd how their “attention-seeking” doesn’t bother Pittman while Kyle’s “attention-seeking” does.
This was my sign used in the March for our Lives in Washington, DC. We need background checks on all gun purchasers. We need a digital gun registry. The public does not need assault weapons to hunt. I own 2 guns. As a Stoneman Douglas teacher we need changes in our laws now! VOTE pic.twitter.com/1PNdaasoTx

It’s as if he’s channeling Hoggie and Puglsey the bald chick.
Actually, it’s probably more accurate to say they’re channeling him.
But wait! There’s more!
Yesterday the Daily Wire reported that while during a class, Pittman allegedly launched into a personal attack on Kyle Kashuv.
According to two unnamed students who witnessed it, Pittman called Kashuv “dangerous” and allegedly compared him to Hitler.
A Jewish kid.
Will wonders never cease?
So… I just got a call from a friend of mine from @GregPittman1957's class and he apparently compared me to Hitler in class and said I am a piece of crap. The rant was about 10-minutes during class time and how he was right and I was wrong with my comments…
— Kyle Kashuv (@KyleKashuv) April 25, 2018
In a message to the Daily Wire, a second student from the class wrote:
I was in class on April 25th with Gregory Pittman and near the end of class the discussion led to Kyle Kashuv’s tweet about going to the gun range. Pittman expressed that he could not speak badly about Kyle because he was specifically told by administration not to. Pittman began talking about what an ass Kyle was and called him “the next Hitler” and said that he was “dangerous” and something needed to be done about him.
Maybe it’s me. But this – along with those defensive tweets – really makes me suspect that Greg Pittman had a hand in Kyle getting reported to school security.
And, like I said, it also leads me to suspect that Hoggie, Puglsey the bald chick, and the rest of the anti-gun faux celebrities have Pittman to thank for their anti-gun indoctrination.
I could be wrong.
But my gut tells me I’m on the right track.
In fact, here’s one of the MSDHS seniors who parroted Pittman’s sentiments in a tweet directed at Kashuv:
I don't think it's wrong to perceive you as a threat when you are making jokes about our school shooting, posting pictures and videos of you with guns and getting into arguments with so many of your fellow students. I would deem that questionable behavior. https://t.co/gChT1xtumm

She has over 35,600 followers, but follows only 303 people. Guess who one of those 303 people is?
If you guessed Greg Pittman, you win a cookie.
In all fairness, I doubt Greg Pittman is the only Leftist teacher at MSDHS filling these kids’ heads with vitriolic garbage.
But at the same time, I sure as hell hope he’s the only one launching into a slanderous attack during class about one of the school’s current students.
Turnabout, however, is fair play.
If I was Kyle Kashuv – or more importantly his mother – I would be in the main office at MSDHS asking if the accusations of Pittman’s personal attacks are true. And if true, I would be demanding something be done about it.
A teacher who would use class time to attack a student behind his back – not to mention accuse him of being like Hitler – has no business in a classroom.

You’re not going to get that kind of cooperation from any public schools down there, I am so happy I moved out of there before my kids started school, the whole area of south Florida is downright demonic
What the Hell is a “Riffle”???? Geez, these Loony are SO afraid of these inanimate objects that they can’t even spell them right!!
Oh my ….Gawd!!!! The “Riffle” was spelled by a Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy. Yah..obviously they don’t use a RIFLE much!!!
Actually, “riffle” is a real English word. When you actuate a flip book, you are riffling its pages; or when you prepare a stack of paper for a printer by breaking the static by curving an edge down and letting the sheets flip out one at a time, you are riffling it. As a noun, it invokes the action of riffling, as in, “give that stack a good riffle.”
This doesn’t surprise me. My niece had a tough senior year because of her rabid HS “Science teacher” over evolution vs intelligent design. He bullied her her constantly and had some of his approved students bully her as well. She isn’t a shrinking violet though and stood her ground every time. (She also got a 32 on her ACT, she was the smartest person in her school, including teachers! lol) The guy is over 6 foot tall, at least 250 lbs and told her dad that she “intimidated” him! LOL He did this to a current 8th grade class as well, they didn’t sit idly by and let him do it. He’s now being sued by the entire class for bullying as well as sexual harassment. He likes to pick on the girls. His wife was the PC Hillary supporting, superintendent and got him his job when she got here. She also made sure that every teacher hired while she was there either thought the same way she did, was an beta male or was a female. Parent’s have been angry for some time and have been giving them hell for a while now. I heard last week that she has “accepted an opportunity that is better for her family” and turned in her resignation. He’s going too. I hope they continue the law suit, douche bags like him need that label to follow them wherever they go.
Wait. So Pitman stated in one tweet “I have 2 guns” and in class said “he (Kyle) was “dangerous” and something needed to be done about him.” Doesn’t that come to a higher level of threat than posting a picture of yourself with a gun? I’m thinking Kyle and his Mom have a clear case of a teacher threatening a student.
“As a teacher from Stoneman Douglas…” Greg repeats that like John Kasich tells you his father was a mailman. It appears he’s trying to invest his uneducated opinions as having some kind of moral authority. He also lists on his Twitter bio that he is a “survivor”. His “I was nearby when something was happening” status is lipstick on a pig. His “gun laws haven’t evolved” nonsense totally ignores things like the National Firearms Act of 1934.
When someone tries to tell me what I “don’t need a gun for” the conversation is over. In America you don’t get to tell me what I can do or why I want something.
Gun laws have “evolved” quite a bit since 1791. If you tried to tell someone in 1791 he needed a permit to carry a gun you might get yourself shot as a Tory.
I understand this teacher is a certified leftist. Gee, see the shocked look on my face???
Isn’t anything to brag about but at least when I was in school it was just the students that were in need of educating.
From Kyle’s twitter feed looks like your suspicions are “bang” on target:

“Riffle”? Were they selling tickets? I’ve been in law enforcement since 1985. A report like this would get anyone laughed out of court.
*sigh*
Broward County’s Finest!
