Score one for Team America, my friends!
Speaking to a largely Cuban American crowd in Florida, President Trump just cancelled Barack Obama’s
surrender deal with the Castro regime in Cuba.
In March of 2016 when Obama went to Cuba to bend over to the Castros, I wrote:
The only thing “historic” about Barack Obama’s unconditional surrender to the Castro Regime is that it is, in fact, an unconditional surrender.
Nothing sums up the victory of the Castros over the world’s sole superpower quite like this photo.
This is limp-wristed leadership from the man who believes his job as President isn’t to defeat those who embrace tyranny, but embrace those who defeat liberty.
To Obama, our fight to defeat tyrannical despots was “misguided.” For fifty years, the US has sought to undermine the Castro regime and free the people of Cuba. And in one fell swoop, Barack Hussein Obama has declared defeat and surrendered to the very regime that has kept its own people in chains.
Under Barack Obama, the United States of America bowed to tyrants.
But not anymore.
Here’s a portion of President Trump’s remarks from today.
I’m sure in no time, Nosy Parker Barack will weigh in on this decision.
I can just imagine what it will be like. He’ll probably say something like “we can’t go back” or “we can’t turn back the clock on the progress we made.”
But the truth is, it wasn’t “progress.” It was surrender.
Donald Trump knows you never, ever negotiate from a position of weakness.
[Come to think of it, that’s the only position Obama ever negotiated from.]
We don’t grovel to any tin-pot, banana republic dictator.
They should be groveling to us.
So good on President Trump for standing on American principles of freedom and liberty.
And just for the record. I’m just not tired of all this winning.
