WikiLeaks: With friends like these…

I just finished going through today’s WikiLeaks Podesta Emails. And once again, my favorite discovery is courtesy of Neera Tanden.

She’s the gift that keeps on giving.

If I were Neera, I’d hire some armed security.

Because the emails released from WikiLeaks are not going to put her in the good graces of Queen Hillary.

Not by a long shot.

I came across a February 2015 email in which Neera sent John Podesta a link to a Washington Post story that obviously frosted her Pop-Tart.

In commenting on the post, Neera wrote:

Sometimes HRC/WJC have the worst judgement

Yeah. They do.

Like relying on campaign staff who think so little of them.

Honestly, with friends like these.

Lucky for Neera, this isn’t sixteenth century England where merely speaking ill of the queen would get you charged with sedition and executed.

Although they haven’t taken to beheading quite yet, Team Clinton does have harsh retribution for anyone who commits a sin against the Queen.

And what’s the most venal of all sins? Leaking to the press.

I have to say, for a campaign supposedly rooted in “transparency,” they really hate blabbermouths.

Check this out.

I found a February 22 email from Joel Beneson who bemoans the fact that certain people are leaking to the press about meeting with Hillary in the run-up to her announcing her campaign.

Clearly Beneson wants retribution to be swift.

I think we have to make examples now of people who have violated the trust of HRC and the rest of the team. People going forward need to know there are stiff consequences for leaking, self-promotion, unauthorized talking with the press. No one – literally no one talked to the press in either Obama campaign without clearing it with campaign brass.

Podesta agrees:

I’m definitely for making an example of a suspected leaker whether or not we have any real basis for it.

To which Robby Mook adds:

I agree–when we have press staff, this will be MUCH easier.
And I would love an example being made.

No word on whether the “example” included putting the culprit’s head on a pike in the middle of their Brooklyn campaign headquarters.

Knowing this is the culture surrounding the Clinton Campaign certainly does shed some light on things, doesn’t it?

No wonder Neera vents to John Podesta. She’s probably terrified of what would happen to her if Team Clinton discovered just how she feels about Hillary.
