With RussiaGate imploding, we’re back to the 25th Amendment

25th Amendment

Disgraced former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe will be on 60 Minutes this weekend.

Because that’s where disgraced former employees of the FBI always go – even the ones under investigation for lying under oath.

And apparently, McCabe tells Scott Pelley that there were meetings to discuss ousting the duly elected President using the 25th Amendment.

Meetings with the Vice President and members of the Cabinet?

No.

These meetings were with a cabal of FBI and DOJ Obama holdovers who, by the way, have no authority to invoke the 25th Amendment.

And why were they considering removing President Trump from office?

Well, because he used his executive authority granted to him by the Constitution to terminate a subordinate of the Executive Branch – namely James Comey.

Don’t doubt me on this.

We’re seeing talk of the 25th Amendment now because the hopes and dreams of RussiaGate are falling apart at the seams.

It’s like spin-the-wheel.

When one narrative crumbles, they just spin the wheel and choose another narrative.

They’ve been doing it since January 20, 2017.

In fact, here’s Mollie Hemingway making that very observation in August of last year.

So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that once again, with RussiaGate imploding, we’re back to the 25th Amendment.

The problem, of course, is Andrew McCabe is admitting on national television that people who have no authority to invoke the 25th Amendment were conspiring to do so.

And that has no basis in the Constitution.

In fact, it’s what we on Planet Earth call a coup.

And yet Andrew McCabe isn’t in prison.

There has been no pre-dawn raid by a heavily-armed detail to haul him out of his home in front of CNN cameras.

Instead, he’s on 60 Minutes admitting to plotting a coup.

But rather than present this as an egregious abuse of the FBI, members of the news media are eagerly lapping it up like the big, dumb dogs that they are.

But of course they are.

RussiaGate is sputtering out like a wet fart.

And Donald J. Trump is still in office.

So they’ve spun the wheel again — serving up the 25th Amendment as a consolation prize for the ResistanceLOL

Don’t tell me there isn’t a “Deep State.”

And don’t tell me that the American news media is not an active participant in their continuing attempts to overturn the 2016 election.

It goes without saying that if this attempted coup had been tried against Barack Obama, every single member of the plot would be sitting in jail with no hope of release.

There should be immediate naming of everyone involved, followed by firing of all involved personnel, followed by potential criminal prosecutions for conspiracy to commit treason.

Any agency that thinks it is above the law should be burned to the ground, that ground should be salted, and never reconstituted as a warning to all other agencies.

When are we going to see a special counsel appointed to investigate the FISA court abuse and other well documented crimes of Hillary?
