Without his media fluffers, Beto goes limp

Seems like just yesterday when Robert Francis O’Rourke was the darling of Hollywood and cable news.  His media fluffers built him up into the IT Candidate of 2018.  He was a rock star!  He was Kennedyesque!  Beto was the future!!!

But lately, it’s looking more and more like Beto’s media fluffers have all but forgotten him.

And it’s showing in the polls, isn’t it? After the initial surge, O’Rourke has dropped to nearly zero percent. He’s gone from IT Candidate to also-ran in record time.

But that’s the problem with being a media-created candidate. Without the 24/7 assistance of media fluffers, you pretty much go flaccid.

And “Beto” is as limp as an overcooked noodle.

A few days after the 2016 election, I said that Hillary’s biggest mistake was falling for her own propaganda. She really did believe that her election was a fait accompli.  She believed the polling that said she had a 98% chance of victory.

It’s why she never bothered to write a concession speech, not to mention why she and Bill bought the house next door for “White House staff” in a “Clinton Administration.”  It’s why she campaigned so infrequently – even to the point of skipping Wisconsin entirely.  And it’s why she felt perfectly safe insulting half the country as “deplorable” and “irredeemable.”

She believed the propaganda coming out of the media that the election was hers.

But the media wasn’t running with the “Hillary has it in the bag” narrative because it was true.  They ran with it to dispirit Trump voters.  The last thing Hillary should’ve done was take them at their word.  It was no doubt her greatest failure as a candidate.

Well, it’s looking like believing the media fluffers is Beto’s greatest failure too.

The reason the news media built O’Rourke into this super popular, totally cool rock star candidate in 2018 was because they wanted to defeat Ted Cruz.

It’s why he got on the Ellen Show and raked in gobs of money from Hollywood and Manhattan.

The media – both news and entertainment – wanted Ted Cruz out so they went all in for Beto.

His popularity, his celebrity – all of it was media-created.

Clearly Beto didn’t realize that.

O’Rourke’s fundamental mistake was thinking the media-created Beto-mentum was authentic, real world enthusiasm.  That’s exactly why, despite vowing not to run in 2020, Beto jumped into the race.  He thought he could ride that momentum to the nomination.

But the momentum was nothing but smoke.

And once his media fluffers stopped fluffing, Beto deflated like a bald whitewall.

When the media creates you, you cannot exist without them. That’s just a fact.

I believe to this day that if the news media didn’t serve as Barack Obama’s personal fan club and fluffers, he never would have gotten the nomination, let alone served two terms in office.

They created him entirely and Obama was completely dependent on them.

The same thing happened with Beto O’Rourke when he ran against Cruz.  He was from stem to stern a media creation.

Sure, they was more than happy to play fluffers for Beto when his only opponent was a Republican they detest.

But now?  Well, let’s just say the news media’s eyes have started to wander.

Without his media fluffers Beto goes limp

MSNBC is gazing longingly at Liz Warren while CNN is going weak-kneed for Kamala.

That leaves Beto O’Rourke toppling ass over tea kettle toward obscurity.

Back in 2016, Rush Limbaugh often said that the media cannot destroy Trump because they didn’t create him.

If the media is the only wind beneath your wings, once they stop blowing, it’s over for you.

Truth be told, among the army of 2020 Democrat candidates currently in the race, there are precious few who, like Trump, don’t need media fluffers.

In fact, among last night’s debaters only one candidate fits that bill.  And it’s the one the media considers a joke – Marianne Williamson.

She doesn’t need them.  More importantly, she isn’t desperately seeking their promotion or approval.  In the end, Marianne’s ability to succeed will be completely her doing.

That will never be said of Robert Francis O’Rourke.

Beto is as limp as a real male standing next to Pete Butt-gig.

I truly believe that if the media had not run interference for ex-Pres. Obama throughout his career he never would have been in the Senate, let alone be President. The Press coverage for Trump is 90% negative, yet his approval rating is just below 50%. Imagine if the coverage was only 50% negative.

“Beto-mentum “. Good one, could also be described as a medical condition. My favorite moments were when the moderators told the candidates, “your time is up”. Literally their time is up for running this country into the ground.

Speaking of Kamel Toe Harris, Jeff Zucker actually ran a benefit for her. Isn’t that collusion?

I am traveling to Austin Texas tomorrow and one of good friends told me to avoid Ben White Blvd. at I 35 because Beto was begging for votes in the median of the highway.

I honestly think we’ve heard the last of Beto O’Rourke during the Presidential campaign Although I think he will go back to Austin and try to take that great city into a even worse condition the city is experiencing.

    “deflated like a bald whitewall”

And I’ll bet Robert Francis O’Rourke has given this POTUS thing sooo much serious thought.

Can this be real? Some of the Dem debaters seem to behave/talk as though they are athletes that of course play for the same team — a type of camaraderie on the field — as they compete for the best batting average swinging against a cardboard cutout of Trump

Truth is, Bobby Francis had no more to offer than any of the other lackwit Democrats running for the Presidency.
