Yeah, I’m taking the day off

sick day

It is impossible to work at one’s desk while simultaneously keeping one’s legs elevated. So I’m taking the day off.

Sorry, guys. But my knees are twice their normal size.

If only I took the day off before I did three loads of laundry. All that stair climbing wasn’t the best thing. But I ran out of clean clothes. What’s a gal to do?

I hope you all are having a great Easter weekend.

By the way, a teaspoon of Turmeric mixed with pineapple juice is just as disgusting as it sounds.

I lack a blender. My pineapple/turmeric concoction is a glass of juice, a teaspoon of turmeric and a spoon to stir the toxic slurry together.

Take 2 days! It’s Easter. Watch some hockey and relax. The nuts will still be yelling impeachment on Monday. 😀

    SHAZZAM

The pineapple turmeric smoothie recipe looks worthwhile. Interestingly, the blogger over at livingfreshdaily.com didn’t seem to include sources to support the anti-inflammatory agents.

Most days, I only make a smoothie for breakfast. It is a great way to eat foods in sometimes usual but beneficial combinations.

Unfortunate that Dianny does not have a Nutri-Bullet/blender device for making smoothies — so MANY healthful possibilities other than a stirred “toxic slurry”
