7 Years!

I launched PatriotRetort.com 7 years ago today.

Man, I can’t believe it’s been 7 years.

Where has the time gone?

When PatriotRetort.com first began, Obama and John Kerry were in the final stages of the idiotic Iran Nuclear Deal, Hillary Clinton’s email scandal was BIG news, Democrats were warning that the world as we know it would end without Net Neutrality, and Donald Trump was still months away from announcing his run for the White House.

We all knew 7 years ago that Hillary Clinton was going to be the 2016 Democrat nominee, even though she hadn’t officially said she was running. In fact, by this time in 2015, the media and the Democrats believed Hillary becoming the 45th President of the United States was a fait accompli – in large part because Jeb Bush was the de facto Republican frontrunner.

We had no idea that a billionaire reality TV star would ride down an escalator, completely upend the establishment status quo, and spare us of the prospect of a President Hillary Clinton.

This morning I went back and looked through the first couple dozen posts I did here at PatriotRetort.com both to see what was in the news at the time and to find the first post I did about Joe Biden.

My first Joe Biden post was from March 11, 2015: “The Dignity Expert.”

Seven years ago I was still over a year away from getting diagnosed with Lupus. I was still referring to it as “Dianny’s Mystery Illness” back then.

I had two cats, Willow and Buffy, and a dog named Mary. Now I have a lunatic cat named Daisy who can open desk drawers not to mention the bathroom medicine cabinet.

A lot has changed in these last 7 years. Some changes are for the better. But sadly, some are not.

It never would have entered my mind in February 2015 that a near-octogenarian Joe Biden would be in the White House today.

Okay, technically Joe isn’t in the White House today; he’s in Wilmington, Delaware. But you know what I mean.

And since I had never heard of Kamala Harris 7 years ago, I had no way of foreseeing that vapid clown as Veep.

In 2015, I frequently wrote that Republican voters needed to kick the Establishment GOP to the curb. And we did that, didn’t we? Not because I wrote about it, mind you. I’m not that big of a narcissist to think I had anything to do with it. It was just a nice surprise that it happened.

I never imagined back in 2015 that the Establishment wing of the GOP would become the ones who were irrelevant. But here we are. Bill Kristol is dancing for his far-Left billionaire paymasters. Liz Cheney is a pariah. The Bush family isn’t even a blip on the radar. And the only way Republican “strategists” get any attention today is by sucking up to the Democrats and the race-baiters on MSNBC.

In 2015, the Establishment Republicans were telling us the only way to gain the support of Hispanic voters was to pursue Amnesty.

In 2022, Hispanic voters are flocking to the Republican Party, not because we support Amnesty, but because they’ve had enough of the open border Democrats flooding our country with illegals while killing our economy.

In short, the Establishment was proven wrong.

I’m glad PatriotRetort.com made it to seven. And I am ready-ready-Freddie for Year 8.
