Activist Heckler Ejected from White House

If Jim Acosta is a journalist, then I’m blond, leggy Marine Biologist.

He’s a far-Left activist who acts like a heckler during White House briefings.

And frankly, the White House should have told this heckler to hit the bricks two years ago.

After badgering and scolding the President with Democrat talking points, Heckler Jim then got into a third-grade scuffle with a White House intern who tried to take the mic from him.

I half expected him to start screaming, “Attica! Attica!”

Or, in this case, “Resist! Resist!”

Naturally, Jim took to Twitter to whine about the consequences of his boorish behavior.

Heckler Jim is trying to simultaneously portray himself as the Victim and the Hero of this little self-made drama.

Yeah. He’s neither.

As Michael Goodwin put it over at the New York Post:

There was a time not long ago when young journalists were taught not to become the story. Apparently, many news organizations have flipped that lesson on its head.

But we are witnessing something more insidious here than media trash talk. Plain and simple, we are watching expressions of personal hatred.

Yes, it’s true that most journalists lean far left and their bias sticks out like so many sore thumbs. That’s been true for a long time, but political bias is an insufficient explanation for the Jim Acostas of our time.

They hate Trump. They really, really hate him. There’s nothing professional about it.

And this from the Post’s Editorial this morning:

Persistence is one thing — indeed, it’s a reporter’s job. Repeatedly interrupting and debating and denigrating the president is something else entirely.

All this may go over big at the National Press Club, but it does no good for the Fourth Estate or for the nation. For Trump supporters and many moderates, it confirms the suspicion that the press has abandoned all objectivity.

But no matter. Jim Acosta, CNN and the other activist Anti-Trump news organizations will whip themselves up into a frenzy over Heckler Jim being banned from the White House.

Yup. They’re clutching their pearls and bemoaning the “threat to a Free Press” as if having a White House Press Pass is an unalienable right rather than a privilege.

All this self-promoting blowhard has to do is stop acting like a heckler and start acting like a journalist.

But I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Because Jim Acosta is not a journalist. He’s not a reporter.

And he never was.
