Adam Rippon: Gold Medalist in Lack of Self-Awareness
Is Adam Rippon an idiot?
The Olympic figure skater might not win a gold medal in the Pyeongchang Olympics (or P.F. Chang if you’re Channel 7 in Chicago).
But I’m fairly certain he has the gold medal in lack of self-awareness all sewn up.
Adam has spent the last several weeks attacking Vice President Mike Pence for supposed “Anti-LGBT” bias. The guy can’t shut the hell up about it.
He went on a Twitter tirade in late January – attacking the Vice President relentlessly.
Then he and fellow Olympian Gus Kenworthy got nice and snotty during the opening ceremony with this hardly subtle dig on Instagram:
Then, in an interview with the UK Daily Mail, Rippon said he had no intention of visiting the White House when the President honors Team USA.

Can you believe this guy?
I don’t know if he can do a triple axel on the ice.
But when it comes to nailing the landing in the Lack of Self-Awareness competition, Adam won the gold medal without breaking a sweat.
Then again, he’s a figure skater. I’m guessing spinning comes naturally to him.

Historically Olympic athletes have been viewed as being ambassadors for their country of origin. This little egotist has put his petty desires for attention to his cause above his country. This blatant display of asininity has turned off many patriots from even watching the winter games. This little puke has pulled a Kapernick and almost single handedly smeared his sport to the point it is no longer enjoyable. Congratulations asshole.
Hey, Kenworthy, it’s Games not “Gaymes.” I’m so sick of identity politics. I don’t give a rat’s ass if you like dudes, just skate and represent the country that’s supporting you. Quit trying to go for a gold in the victim Olympics, too. So you’re gay. Big deal. In today’s society that puts you in one of the most privileged, protected, and whiny classes we have.
I don’t want to hear about your “Open gayness” anymore than I want to hear that Shawn White prefers Asians with big breasts or that Mikaela Shiffron likes well-hung Norwegians.
Gold in lack of self awareness indeed since he and those like him lack the awareness that their blatant insults in the name of identity politics do more harm to their cause than good.
