Arrogance and Ignorance

Invariably when I write a post like the previous one, someone will comment, “Careful, Dianny. You don’t want the anti-Trump people to know what mistakes they’re making.”

As if they’d change their behavior.

Don’t you know by now that they won’t?

That’s the problem with being at the same time staggeringly arrogant and deeply stupid.

Arrogance and Ignorance are a deadly combination. And one that precludes any possibility of learning from your mistakes.

Back in October during “CondolenceGate,” I featured a column by Michael Goodwin from the New York Post in which he said this about the White House Press Corps:

As Kelly talked to the press corps, I felt how tawdry much of the media has become, how bloated with vanity and ignorance. So many lack any humility about things they don’t know, including the life-and-death decisions of others sworn to keep them safe.

But it isn’t just the fake news that is “bloated with vanity and ignorance.”

The whole of the ResistanceLOL is.

I guarantee you that no member of the anti-Trump ResistanceLOL would read my previous post then step back and say, “Gosh, Dianny has a point. Maybe we should stop doing these stupid things.”

They can’t. That’s the problem with arrogance and ignorance.

Instead, they would read my post and proceed to mock me in the most condescending way possible – all the while confident in their own brilliance.

Nobody has displayed this tone-deaf combination of arrogance and ignorance quite like Hillary Clinton.

She mocked and dismissed the people who supported Trump. Hell, she didn’t even bother trying to campaign for their votes.

In her arrogance, it never once occurred to her that ignoring the Rust Belt states was a deeply ignorant thing to do. It never occurred to her that maybe she should listen to what the voters wanted.

She didn’t think she needed to listen. In her arrogance, Hillary was so damn sure she’d win, that she made one grave tactical error after another.

Arrogance and ignorance. They are a self-defeating combination.

But Hillary is hardly alone.

The same can be said for the disastrous Schumer Shutdown.

They were so damn sure that Americans would back their play to put illegal aliens ahead of us, they didn’t even bother to gauge the mood of the country before blundering into the shutdown.

And the same can be said for the fools who are opposing a 20-week abortion ban by calling it “immoral,” “dangerous” and “horrifying.”

They don’t care that most Americans believe there should be a limit on when abortions can be performed.

And they are so filled with arrogance that they’ve become condescendingly indifferent to what Americans think.

It’s made them tone-deaf. And it is the very reason they lack self-awareness.

Arrogance and ignorance is getting in their way.

This is why Donald Trump won the election. For the first time ever a Presidential candidate was actually paying attention to what we “hoi polloi” were saying.

More importantly, Donald Trump was the first Presidential candidate who showed the American people respect.

Sure, President Trump has an ego, but what he doesn’t possess is that dangerous combo of arrogance and ignorance.

The irony of course is that the ResistanceLOL arrogantly believes he is both. And they are too ignorant to realize just how wrong they are.

It’s why their attacks against President Trump aren’t working — and why they never will.

It’s also why the ResistanceLOL are turning off so many Americans.

We are not nearly as stupid as they think we are. And we can see just how condescending and disrespectful they are toward us.

For example, as I pointed out in the previous post, how they behaved last night at the Grammy Awards.

This arrogance and ignorance seeps from the pores of every member of the so-called ResistanceLOL.

Like this genius.

“No one does.” Except for the 54% of Americans who do.

But to her that 54% of Americans don’t count. She thinks we’re too stupid to matter. And she lacks the humility to grasp that she isn’t nearly as smart as she thinks she is.

Arrogance and ignorance — the two traits that the ResistanceLOL is unable to change. Both are hard-wired into their psyche.

And that arrogance and ignorance is why they keep making the same mistakes over and over again expecting different results.

They’ll never change.

They’ll never wise up.

Because they really do believe that they are the smart ones and we are the idiots.

They really do believe that only people who think like them are worthy of their time or respect.

And it is so going to bite them on the ass.

    Hillary: I’m not right? Inconceivable!
    Adolf: (ditto)

Trump is arrogant. He knows he’s arrogant. He also knows when to shut up and listen.

    It’s called “wisdom.”

    Genius? Well, someone’s gotta be.

Didn’t Stevie Wonder sing that song?
    “Arrogance and ignorance
    live together in perfect harmony”

When abortion was implemented from the SCOTUS it was limited to 12 weeks. Then it expanded to 16.

Now we have it up to the moment of birth. Stupid feminists played right into beta males hands. Sex without responsibility or consequences.
