Back-Tracking Kamala does the walk-back shuffle (again)

Back-Tracking Kamala does the walk-back shuffle

After putting on quite a staged dramatic scene about the wonders of federally-mandated busing at last week’s debate, back-tracking Kamala Harris has shifted into reverse once again.

When it comes to back-tracking on previous positions and statements, this woman is giving Kirsten “Flip-Flop” Gillibrand a run for her money.

While campaigning Wednesday in Iowa, Back-Tracking Kamala was asked about her “powerful, viral” moment in the debate when she excoriated Joe Biden for opposing federally-mandated busing.

For those who didn’t watch (lucky you), after Biden explained his position was not opposing busing in general, but the federal government forcing it on schools, Harris pounced and declared, “So, that’s when the federal government steps in! There are moments in history where states fail to preserve the civil rights of all people.”

And just to be certain we all understood that Kamala wanted the Federal Government involved in busing, she went on to screech about all the Federal mandates she supports to force states to bend to the will of the Democrat Party.

There was no doubt about it; Harris was defending and promoting the Federal Government forcing local schools to bus students the hell and back in order to create artificial school “integration.”

But that was then.

Like pretty much everything else Back-Tracking Kamala initially promotes, she walked it back.

From the AP

Sen. Kamala Harris said Wednesday that busing students should be considered by school districts trying to desegregate their locations — not the federal mandate she appeared to support in pointedly criticizing rival Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden last week.

Harris had a breakthrough moment at the candidates’ first debate when she criticized Biden for his opposition to mandatory school busing when he was a senator in the 1970s. Harris said she benefited from busing as an elementary school student in Berkeley, California, in the early 1970s.

“That’s where the federal government must step in,” Harris said, looking at Biden and winning a burst of applause from the auditorium in Miami.

On Wednesday, though, Harris characterized busing as a choice local school districts have, not the responsibility of the federal government.

So, in other words, Back-Tracking Kamala now endorses the very position Joe Biden voiced at last week’s debate.

You know, the one she “bravely” attacked him for in her “breakthrough moment.”

Are you laughing?

Because I’m chuckling as I write this.

And this wasn’t even the first walk-back shuffle Kamala found herself doing after last weeks’ debate.

She also stood on that stage and proudly raised her hand when the moderators asked if each candidate’s Medicare For All proposal would abolish private health insurance.

Then, the very next day, Back-Tracking Kamala walked it back.

Get this. She actually claimed that misheard the question. She thought the moderator asked if she would give up her own private health insurance.

Okay, I’m laughing again while I’m typing.

This is how stupid Kamala Harris thinks voters are — not to mention how stupid she is.

I said back in January that Kamala will have a rough road in a national campaign — mostly because she is a Democrat from California. And when you run for office in a state where the Democrat is guaranteed to win, you have no earthly idea how to run a competitive campaign.

Unless of course, the candidate in question has the full support and backing of the national news media.

At the end of the day, what was the point of that staged meltdown over busing?

Well, this:

Back-Tracking Kalama T-shirt

Yup.  After her pre-planned performance, Kamala’s website already had a “breakthrough moment” T-shirt ready to go.

Actually, I think they should re-release the shirt with the text: “That little girl walked back her position on busing, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.”

The fact that Kamala’s carefully staged and marketed “breakthrough moment” ends up being one of the many positions she walks back has got to be the most stunning and shameless act I have ever seen in a presidential campaign.

These Democrats love to ridicule President Trump as a “Reality TV President.”  But what was this but a made-for-TV staged moment with absolutely no substance?

And once this contrived “take-down” of the Democrat frontrunner before a national viewing audience was achieved, Kamala dropped her strong position like a hot rock.

What remains to be seen is whether the news media will call her out on it.

If they don’t, I think it’s safe to say that Kamala Harris has become their Chosen One.

Yeah, I did.

I’m waiting for her to walk back that she isn’t tutoring AOC in the finer points of a professional politician and not a millennial snowflake.
She is also in denial about Willie Brown cause that she can’t walk back.

How did “Bite Me” do so well while defending himself during harris’ staged attack by remembering the key specifics of his political position on something from the 1970’s?

One possibility: “Bite Me” was aware the Harris stunt was coming and had prepared his response. Would the DNC have enabled that

Candidates do debate prep. Team Biden was fully aware that he would be asked about this. The busing hit, the segregationists hit were both big stories in the news. Debate prep would have prepared him to respond to both hit jobs. So of course he had the details at the ready.

And if you think muttering “sorry, my time is up” was doing so well …

No need to find conspiracy theories everywhere. This is not a Q site.

Mental disorder. Say what you think what people want to believe and then believe it yourself. These folks are just unbelievable.
