Bad day for Debbie

Boy, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is having a really bad day. To tell you the truth, the woman is having one horrible year. The Democratic National Convention is about to kick off in Philadelphia, and before the first demagogic speaker can take the stage, Debbie’s carefully constructed house of cards is tumbling down around her.

First, Hillary stabbed the radical Left in the back and chose as her running mate a white bread, boring guy from Virginia with a penchant for accepting lavish gifts from donors and bellying up to the Crony Capitalist All You Can Grift Buffet.

And, to make matters worse, WikiLeaks releases tens of thousands of hacked DNC emails. Among the nuggets of information found was the coordinated effort to scuttle Bernie Sanders’ campaign and grease the skids for Hillary. Plus (big surprise here) the behind-the-scenes collusion between the DNC and the Enslaved Press.

The irony is, among the hacked emails was one mocking a May 5, 2016 article from BuzzFeed that criticized the horrible cybersecurity at both the RNC and the DNC.

Whoopsie! That’s gonna leave a mark.

Most of the stories on the emails aren’t so much bombshells as they are confirmation of what we already suspected was the case.

We all knew the DNC was backing Hillary over Bernie long before a single primary vote was cast. But to see in print just how fervently partisan this subterfuge was is a little jarring.

Likewise, only an idiot would believe that the DNC and the Enslaved Press are not in cahoots. But seeing in print the emails of a furious Debbie Wasserman-Schultz demanding apologies from Mika Brzezinski and ordering Chuck Todd to stop the negative coverage was more than even I expected.

Nothing like seeing how the sausage is made.

Those of us who know just how venal the Democrat Party is aren’t entirely shocked by the contents of these hacked emails. It pretty much confirms what we already knew.

It didn’t take long for the DNC to take action, however.

No, silly. They aren’t going to punish anyone for rigging the system against Bernie. They’re going to punish someone for people finding out that they’re rigging the system.

And that someone is Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

Though she is the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie will not be allowed to speak at the Democratic National Convention. Sure, they’ll let her officially start and end the Convention, but that’s it. No speaking slot. None.

According to CNN, barring Debbie from speaking was a concession to Bernie Sanders who is understandably angry over what these leaked emails revealed. Which doesn’t speak well of Bernie Sanders’ intelligence. Because you’d have to be stupid to not have known even before these emails were released that he was getting the shaft from the DNC.

As much as the Democrats are promoting the lack of unity among Republicans — especially after the kerfuffle over Ted Cruz’s convention speech — the truth is, the Democrat Party’s schism is more of a chasm. They are having one hell of a time unifying the Bernie Sanders wing of the party with the entrenched establishment wing led by Clinton and her DNC human shields.

These hacked emails couldn’t have come at a worse time for them. Bernie supporters are livid.

Again, I have no idea how this comes as a surprise to them.

Personally, the only revelation that came as a complete shock to me was the one where DNC staffers were plotting to post a fake Craigslist ad recruiting women to work for the Trump organization.

I don’t know why I’m so surprised by that. We all know that the only way the Democrats can advance their narrative is by lying. But still. I thought this kind of childish, moronic crap was a bridge too far even for them.

Their conspiring to exploit Bernie Sanders’ Jewish heritage in the South doesn’t shock me.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz acting like the News Director for the Enslaved Press doesn’t shock me.

But placing phony Craigslist ads to make Trump look like a sexist sounds like something a thirteen-year-old would do. Resorting to this is a clear indication that the DNC can’t dig up any actual proof that Trump is a Bill-Clinton-Size creep.

All in all, the entire mishegas is blowing up in Debbie Downer’s face like a trick cigar. As a result, the DNC has decided to use her as a scapegoat.

Can you believe these people want to be in charge of the country?!
