Bad week for McCaskill and Heitkamp

Heitkamp and McCaskill

Boy, this has been one hell of a miserable week for Democrat Senators, hasn’t it?

Elizabeth Warren made an utter clown of herself and probably ruined her 2020 Presidential aspirations.

But when it comes to November, it’s highly unlikely Liz’s gaffe will hurt her.

After all, this is Massachusetts — the state that happily reelected a man who killed a woman. So I doubt Warren’s DNA clown show will prevent her from keeping her Senate seat.

The same, however, can’t be said for the horrible mistakes by Claire McCaskill and Heidi Heitkamp.

At this point, it’s hard to know who is having a crappier week.

If this were a horserace, those two mares are running neck-and-neck.

Monday, Project Veritas released the first undercover video exposing McCaskill as a big, fat liar.

And Claire made it worse by pulling a Hillary Clinton and blaming her exposure on a vast rightwing conspiracy masterminded by her opponent Josh Hawley.

See what she’s doing here?

She’s accusing Hawley of being behind this Project Veritas video. Really Claire? Was he also behind the PV video from Tennessee? What a stupid thing for her to do.

But McCaskill clearly hopes that by accusing her opponent she can somehow mitigate the damage Project Veritas caused her own campaign.

She’s also flat-out lying about that exchange between her and the PV journalist. If you haven’t watched the first video, watch it for yourself. Claire wasn’t arguing with the journalist and trying to dispute his claims. She was in thunderous agreement.

Unfortunately for McCaskill, she has a big old tell when she’s lying. Specifically, she blinks incessently like a meth-addled poodle.

Well, Project Veritas has released Part Two and something tells me Claire is going to be blinking mad.

Josh Hawley had nothing to do with this and McCaskill knows it.

What makes Claire so angry is she’s been caught trying to deceive Missouri voters.

Something tells me the Show Me State isn’t going to appreciate that in the least.

Meanwhile, in North Dakota, Heidi Heitkamp has gotten her campaign in some legal trouble.

Heitkamp ran an ad disguised as an “Open Letter” to her Republican opponent supposedly from survivors of sexual assault.

Some of the women named as signers of this “Open Letter” did not give Heitkamp permission to use their names.

What is it with Democrats exploiting rape survivors anyway?

In an effort to weaponize the #MeToo movement, Heitkamp really screwed herself here.

As a result, she was forced to apologize for running the ad.

But her problems may be far from over.

Some advice, ladies. Don’t hire Michael Avenatti.

This is not a good thing to happen three weeks before the Midterms.

Good grief. Talk about unforced errors.

What a horrible week for the Democrats.

And it’s only Wednesday.

At this point, I just do not see McCaskill or Heitkamp successfully bouncing back from any of this. It would be like trying to pull a jet out of a dive when you’re twenty feet from the ground.

And their problems aren’t the only ones the Democrats are having right now.

There’s Arizona Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema’s unfortunate history of attacking and insulting the residents of the state she hopes to serve.

Then there’s the Project Veritas video that exposed the two-faced Tennessee Senate candidate Phil Bredesen.

Add to that the phony Hispanic Beto O’Roarke hogging the limelight while running what will be a losing race to unseat Ted Cruz.

And there’s no way to spin this.

When it comes to the Senate, the Democrats are screwed.

The irony, of course, is that as bad as Liz Warren’s DNA disaster was, she’s probably the only one from this messy week who will get through the Midterms unscathed.

This year, to cut down on long lines at the ballot box, registered Republicans should vote November 6th and registered Democrats should vote November 7th.
Thank you and help spread the word.

Air Claire has enjoyed the last six years courtesy of Todd Akin, the bonehead who was a shoo-in until he made the comment about women being raped should relax and enjoy it. He refused to drop out and handed her the election. He hasn’t been heard from since and this thieving liar is about to retire with the tens of millions of taxpayer dollars she’s steered to her family.

Did anyone else think of Michael Moore when you saw the pic of Heitkamp in the article?
