Berkeley. Benghazi. Different Countries, Same Barbarians.

I was watching footage of the violent riots in Berkeley yesterday morning and I noticed they looked strikingly familiar to me.

Dark of night. Fire and black smoke. Crowds of barbarians cheering.

Where have I seen that before?

America has enemies.

Some are in countries thousands of miles away.

But some are right here at home.

Different countries. Different ideologies.

But the same violent, destructive barbarism.

What’s even more ironic?

Those who sought to beat back the barbarians in Benghazi were given a stand-down order.

And so were the police in Berkeley.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that radical Islam and radical anti-American anarchists have formed an alliance of sorts.

They have the same enemy: a free, strong and prosperous United States of America.

Both will do anything to destroy us.

And both get financial backing from wealthy regimes and individuals.

Iran? George Soros? Is there really any difference?

Intimidation, threats, terror and violence — nothing is off the table.

You expect it, of course, in a stateless ungovernable nation like Libya.

But it is happening here.

These anarchists want to be just as ungovernable as that North African hell-hole.

This is domestic terrorism.

It is the modern-day Democrat Party’s military arm – taking the place of the early 20th Century model the Ku Klux Klan.

The Left isn’t modeling its so-called “resistance” after the Tea Party movement.

They’re modeling it after radical Islamic terror.

Antifa. Al Qaeda.

Really? What difference at this point does it make?

If one searches Encyclopaedia Britanica: Red Guard, one finds they were high school and university students, armed with clubs (and Mao’s Little Red Book) and condoned by the Communist Party, to enforce their version of “political correctness” …and if the occasional molotov cocktail were tossed…Oh well, youthful exuberance donchaknow!
Today’s campus Leftists are very reminiscent of said Red Guard.

…and , as an aside; Those privileged, puerile, children carrying the “THIS IS WAR” sign, have not the slightest idea what war is. Their clueless obeisance to the Radical Leftist mantra is going to get them,at best, crippled, and at worst dead. War is NOT carrying signs and chanting slogans. War is pain, and blood, and death, and many years of recovery both physically and mentally….if you survive at all.

A very astute observation. Spot-on, as always!
