Beto Swalwell: Same losing ideas but with twice the arm flailing
Last week Robert Francis O’Rourke decided to “reinvent” himself and “relaunch” his flailing arms campaign by rebranding himself Eric Swalwell II – or Beto Swalwell if you will.
Yup. “Beto” decided the best way to goose his polling numbers is to crib from Swalwell’s anti-gun platform.
Because it worked so well for Eric Swalwell.
I don’t know who is advising Beto Swalwell, but whoever it is should probably not encourage his candidate to steal the platform from the very first 2020 Democrat to drop out of the race.
That seems self-evident. Well, self-evident to anyone who isn’t Beto Swalwell.
Running on the platform to confiscate firearms from law-abiding citizens didn’t help Eric one bit. So what made Beto Swalwell think this radical anti-Second Amendment position would help him rise in the polls?
Of course Beto Swalwell is also running on the notion that America is a dirty, rotten, stinking racist hell-hole that was “founded on racism.” Which I’m sure will be a big winner among Americans – especially when coupled with “I’m going to force you to sell the government your guns and if you refuse, I’ll put you in prison.”
Beto Swalwell is currently campaigning in Southern states so he can scold, lecture, threaten and slander those who live there while asking for their votes.
Sounds like a sure-fire winning “campaign reboot,” doesn’t it?
It really astonishes me that these 2020 Democrat candidates think the road to victory lies in vilifying more than half the country as racist while promising to turn them into felons for committing the crime of exercising their Constitutional rights.
These Democrats really do not have their finger on the pulse of the people, do they?
But then again they don’t want to get the pulse of the people.
Instead, they want to hector, threaten and scold us while wagging a sanctimonious finger and accusing us of being awful human beings.
But remember folks. Trump is the divisive one.
If we’re lucky, Beto O’Rourke’s Swalwell 2.0 reboot will work out as well for him as it did for the hapless, cringeworthy dork from California.

Also, I love that he is rebooting his campaign and won’t do unimportant events, like the Iowa state fair, but will release video of himself changing a tire.

Right now there’s a drunk laying in a gutter, his greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes, licking at the puddle for water, laughing in between slurps, that the democrats actually took his idea that the best way to win an election is to call EVERYTHING from the beginning of time racist.
