Better put Rachel Maddow on Suicide Watch

Better put Rachel Maddow on suicide watch

Thanks to Lupus, I was resting on the couch when word came that AG Barr had Mueller’s long-awaited report and would be briefing Congress on its contents.

And over at MSNBC, it was the sob heard round the world.

Not since the wee hours of November 9, 2016 has Rachel Maddow been so close to a complete psychological break.

Poor Rachel Maddow

This is your face on Trump Derangement Syndrome.

You know, someone better put Rachel Maddow on suicide watch. At the very least, keep her away from windows and sharp objects.

Now I figured 99.9% of the on-air “talent” at both MSNBC and CNN knew the Russian Collusion thing was a total fraud — chief among them John Brennan.

And maybe I’m correct about that.

But I’m beginning to suspect that Rachel Maddow is the 0.1% who actually, fervently believed.

All this time, I figured Maddow knew the garbage conspiracies she was peddling were nonsense.  I really believed that she was in on the con.

But the look of confusion on her face last night leads me to suspect that she genuinely bought into the lie.

She wasn’t a knowing peddler of lies after all, but a useful idiot.

I’m mean, just take a gander at the mystified look on her face.

Mystified Rachel Maddow

And I’ll be honest with you; I can’t help but pity her.

She’s like Linus year after year patiently waiting in the pumpkin patch fervently believing that the Great Pumpkin was only minutes away — only to discover RussiaGate was more like the Great Bupkis.

I can’t imagine what it must feel like to invest so much time and energy believing in a lie.

Then again, this is a common problem with the Left.

Whether it’s socialism or “climate change” or RussiaGate or Mueller, these guys are so desperate to believe in something – anything – that gives their pitiful lives meaning.

I said long ago that all of us are created with that longing for the divine.  It is my view that when God created us in His own image, that’s what it meant.  We are created longing to be connected to God.  We yearn for it.  Faith is ingrained in us.  And this innate connection is why we seek to believe in something greater than ourselves.

But those who reject God are forced to seek it elsewhere.

Last night, Rachel Maddow discovered that her faith was misplaced.

And that has to be a shattering discovery.

Now, don’t get me wrong.  I don’t think Rachel Maddow is suddenly going to realize the error of her ways in putting her faith in Mueller.

At this point, she will cling desperately to that which gave her life meaning for the last two years.

In fact, in her show last night, Rachel went through three of the five stages of grief — Denial, Anger and Bargaining — live and on camera.  I’m sure depression is still a ways away.  But at this point, acceptance hardly seems possible.

Instead, like most of the ResistanceLOL, Rachel will put her faith in Congress and the Southern District of New York.

And she’s not alone.

The “Sovereign” District of New York?

Oh, Brian, honey.

Rachel and the rest of the ResistanceLOL are far too invested in seeing President Trump frog-marched out of the White House in cuffs.  And they will not easily let it go.

And if, as some are suspecting, Attorney General Barr begins investigating those who perpetrated the Russian hoax, poor Rachel will be inconsolable.

But not nearly as inconsolable as she will be in November of 2020 if (and when) Donald Trump is reelected.

Looks like Rachel has shifted back into Denial.

Send her some rope and an instruction book. Have her get in touch w/ Jesse for tips on how to succeed. Maybe she will put the world out of her misery.

“ Faith is ingrained in us. And this innate connection is why we seek to believe in something greater than ourselves.”

We hope and pray that more will be given the ‘gift’ in order to respond. ….
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9)
To have such complete assurance is so inspiring.
“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” (John 10:28-30)
