But, but, but Security Clearance!!!!

Security Clearance

Contrary to rumor, I was not snatched by aliens yesterday.

Not unless Lupus is from Alpha Centauri.

No, it was just a particularly crippling flare.

I’m still not exactly five-by-five. But since I didn’t write a damn thing yesterday, I thought I should at least try to give you something new to read.

Besides, having Hillary in a bed sheet at the top of my website for two days was long enough.

So I spent yesterday lying on the couch, cursing Lupus and reading “The Survivor” – the first of the Mitch Rapp books written by Kyle Mills.

This might be blasphemy, but this Kyle Mills not only does an incredible job keeping with Vince Flynn’s style; he also write one heck of an exciting story. I’m only halfway through it, but boy, is it good.

Any old how.

Every so often, I’d take a break from reading and go onto Twitter just to see what was happening in the world where Mitch Rapp doesn’t exist. And the whole security clearance hullaballoo was so ridiculous, I would have rolled my eyes repeatedly if the Lupus headache didn’t make eyerolling hurt.

How DARE Trump even CONSIDER revoking the security clearance of Obama’s intel people!!!!

Good old Jake Tapper decided that the sole reason Trump was considering it was because Clapper, Brennan, Rice, Comey and McCabe were criticizing him.

In fact, Jake didn’t assume that, he just flat-out and said that was the reason.

Apparently Jake Tapper can see into Donald Trump’s soul.

The reasons given by Sarah Huckabee are the exact same reasons Rand Paul even brought this up to President Trump.

The truth is, Comey and McCabe should have been stripped of any security clearance the second they were fired.

Because they were fired.

As for Brennan, Rice and Clapper, all three of them abused and mishandled classified information.

But one of the funniest arguments came from Fusion GPS’s NBC’s Ken Dilanian

I have no doubt the reason CNN and NBC are both super upset about this is because the whole reason they hired Clapper and Brennan was because they had security clearance.

If their clearance gets revoked, CNN and NBC will no longer be getting their money’s worth.

This isn’t really rocket science.

You have people who were involved in a cabal to stop Trump from being elected and then after the election worked to undermine and delegitimize his Presidency.

Why in Lucifer’s reach would they be able to retain a security clearance?

I realize that everything President Trump does will be met with a chorus of shrieks and accusations.

But there is nothing about this that is in any way troubling.

And the howler monkeys in the news media are only making themselves look like even bigger idiots.

“I guess James Clapper doesn’t see the irony in his rushing to CNN to whine like a baby that Trump revoking his security clearance is a “very very petty thing to do.”

What these bastards have done TO Trump is WAY beyond “very, very petty:

I’ve heard it explained that these people need to keep their security clearance so that they can discuss things that happened in the past with new, incoming officials. That their clearance doesn’t give them access to any new intel. To which I say BUNK. Any old intel they need to convey has been documented and if I was a newbie official, liars like Brennan, Clapper and Comey are the last people I’d go to for advice.

What ever happened to “need to know”? These traitorous bastards need a LOT more than security clearance revoked! GD leaking asshats deserve a firing squad, imo.

I had to obtain and maintain a TS clearance when I was on Active Duty in the US Navy. My clearance was cancelled LITERALLY the day my enlistment ended! I had to go through the entire process to obtain a new security clearance when I started a contractor job (working for the DoD) requiring one.

Why should any other government employee – no matter how high in the chain – be any different???
