CNN declares the story false because Susan’s friends say so
Yesterday, I kept checking to see if CNN would report on the news that Susan Rice was the one who requested the unmasking of Trump’s team.
Well, they finally hit the ground running on the story.
Not to report on this explosive news, but to dismiss this explosive news as being false.
And how do they know it’s false?
Because people close to Susan Rice are telling them it’s false.
Hey, it worked so well for them when they covered the Mike Brown story in Ferguson, didn’t it?
He couldn’t have been this violent thug! His family and friends loved him!
Alex Griswold, a writer for Mediaite tweeted out this nugget:
You got that?
CNN knows the story is false because Susan’s friends say so.
Hard-hitting journalism at its best, n’est-ce pas?
And then there was Drunk Don Lemon who opened his show by declaring the entire Obama Surveillance Scandal false. And he would not “insult your intelligence by pretending otherwise. Nor will we aid and abet the people trying to misinform you – the American people – by creating a diversion.”
Oh, go get your ear pierced, you smug sack of crap.
The Evelyn Farkas news was never “debunked.”
Then again, CNN is famous for declaring things “debunked” simply because they deem it “debunked.”
Here’s the problem that CNN has.
It jettisoned objective journalism in favor of advocacy.
And CNN wants to advocate for this “Russia colluded with Trump” fiction to the exclusion of everything else.
It doesn’t matter that with each passing day the Russia story gets thinner while the Obama surveillance story gains traction.
CNN will not let go of Russiagate because they can’t let go of Russiagate.
As a result, the more information that comes out about the surveillance of the Trump team, the stupider CNN looks.
They’ve painted themselves into a corner here.
If they were to suddenly cover the news instead of cover-up the news, their entire narrative would collapse like a house of cards.
CNN has staked its entire programming on undermining Donald Trump.
And because of that, there is nowhere they can go but down.
Don Lemon actually thinks his sanctimoniously smug disclaimer makes him look credible when it does the exact opposite.
But what choice does he or anyone else at CNN have at this point?
If they do an about-face and actually behave like a news outlet, all the work they’ve been doing to discredit Donald Trump will be exposed as partisan hackery. So they have to continue down this Russiagate rabbit hole.
Even if that means taking a bulldozer to what little credibility they have left.
This Susan Rice bombshell is going to damage the media as much as the Obama administration….
ANOTHER COVER UP

.@CNN's adamant refusal to cover the ongoing surveillance story is a bold, risky, & potentially self-destructive bet https://t.co/0bEhDNGgrq

In a way, CNN reminds me of the bad guys in every Coen Brothers’ movie.
When their plans fall apart, instead of simply walking away and cutting their losses, the bad guys double-down and dig themselves into an even deeper pit.
Is it any wonder nobody is watching CNN anymore?

Perfect! Bye bye CNN.
They will deny until some completely new shiite storm hits, distracting everyone’s attention, and then quietly try to walk away from the crime scene like nuttin ever happn’d.
Down the road (hi been rode!) they can say: “what difference does it make at this point?”, ie. ‘ you fools didn’t catch me in time!’
Such a punchable face he has.
