Comey’s Keystone Kops

Keystone Kops

I couldn’t believe it when I saw the news last night that the FBI “lost” all the text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page from December 14, 2016 through May 17, 2017.

They “lost” them.

Who are these idiots, the Keystone Kops?

But I’m guessing they “lost” them the way Hillary Clinton “lost” over thirty thousand emails after using BleachBit.

From The Daily Caller:

The text message gap spans the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017, according to Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of HSGAC.
That’s a crucial timespan in the FBI’s Russia investigation, which Strzok was picked to oversee in July 2016.
During that period, the infamous Steele dossier was published, Strzok interviewed then-national security adviser Michael Flynn about contacts he had with Russia’s ambassador (he pleaded guilty in December to lying during that interview), and James Comey was fired as FBI director. On the final day of the five-month gap, Robert Mueller was appointed to serve as special counsel on the Russia investigation.

Well, isn’t that convenient? The “lost” texts go through the very day Robert Mueller’s sham investigation was started.

Let’s be honest, you’d have to be an imbecile to think this was an accident.

But the ones that remain are damning enough.

As Sharyl Attkisson reported at the Hill, despite claims that she was staying out of the Clinton Investigation, former AG Loretta Lynch reportedly knew Clinton was not going to be charged.

After Lynch announced that she would accept whatever recommendation Keystone Kop Comey made, Lisa Page texted Strzok saying:

And yeah, it’s a real profile in courag[e], since she knows no charges will be brought.

Good grief. Can you believe how brazen these people are?

But it does show beyond a doubt that Comey’s Keystone Kops never intended to prosecute Hillary Clinton for her violations of the law.

Then again, we pretty much figured that out already, didn’t we?

In fact, after Donald Trump secured the Republican nomination, Strzok and Page texted each other that they needed to hurry up and finish the Clinton investigation.

Attkisson makes this point in her report:

Any neutral observer would have to be concerned about supposed missing evidence from a premier law enforcement and intel collection agency as well as the types of discussions and conflicts of interest apparently at issue with key officials within the FBI. It’s one more piece of a developing story that unfortunately points to alleged misconduct by some at top levels in our intelligence community. If the allegations bear out, it could have huge implications for a number of investigations handled by the officials in question over the past decade – not just cases related to the 2016 campaign.

The leadership at the FBI put politics before upholding the law.

And as a result, Comey’s Keystone Kops were willing to break the law to get Hillary Clinton into the White House.

We all knew Washington was a swamp.

But the Comey’s Keystone Kops were more of a sewer.

Between this and the Clinton-funded opposition research disguised as a “dossier” on Trump, Robert Mueller’s investigation is built on a lie.

It’s time to shut it down and investigate Comey’s Keystone Kops instead.
