Just a question, but can a Federal Government who, since 2003, wasted a trillion dollars in overpayments, can’t create a working website, and is unable to learn the lesson that government doesn’t create jobs and grow an economy really believe it can come up with “common sense” gun control laws?
Doesn’t it stand to reason that to be able to come up with “common sense gun laws” one would have to possess common sense?
I’m sorry, but “common sense” are not two words that spring to mind when I think of the Federal Government.
When you advertise an area is a “gun-free zone,” common sense dictates that people out to do violence will happily turn up because they know they will receive little if any resistance.
When the President of the United States announces on national television that he plans to come out and make a speech, publicize and politicize the next “mass shooting,” doesn’t common sense tell us that the next crazy who decides to make a name for himself would be more inclined to act knowing that he will get all that national attention from none other than the President himself?
There will be no “common sense” gun laws coming from this White House.
The only kind of laws that will ooze out of Obama will be the “over-the-top, reactionary, extremist, anti-gun, tyrannical disarming of citizen” type laws.
Do you really think Obama would carp on about England and Australia who confiscated weapons and outlawed private gun ownership if all he was looking for was “common sense” gun control?
Common sense would indicate that Obama wants to make private gun ownership illegal.
And of course he does.
Obama is a Marxist. Obama despises our Constitution.
Obama is a radical Leftist who does not respect the sovereign individual and the idea of LIMITED government.
Being a radical Leftist, Obama believes that it is government’s job to control the people, not the other way around.
And because I know that about him and possess what we on Planet Earth call “common sense,” my guns aren’t going anywhere.
