A Couple SOTU Photoshops
So my Sunday is not shaping up to be much better than my Saturday, I’m sorry to say.
And what I have been assuming is just another Lupus flare is actually starting to look more like Shingles. But the jury is still out on that. If this excruciating pain transforms into a rash with a fever, I’ll be phoning the doctor faster than you can say “Bob’s your uncle.”
But as it is, between the pain and the headache, I’m just not up to sitting in my office and coming up with something clever or insightful to write about.
However I thought the least I could do this snowy Sunday is come up with a couple Photoshops for your entertainment.
The first is inspired by Greg Gutfeld’s comment on his show last night that Chuck Schumer looked like the Penguin as he sat through the State of the Union Address.
I laughed out loud when I heard that because he totally did.
Then I got to thinking about Nancy’s pained and vacuous expression.
It made me think of Captain Pike from the Star Trek episode “Menagerie.”
What do you think?
Okay. That’s enough work for today. I hope you got a laugh out of these Photoshops.
Now I’m going to spend the rest of my Sunday watching movies and trying not to move.
And hoping like hell that I don’t have Shingles.

IOU for that Nan pose as I am saving it in case I have one lasting longer than four hours.
As usual you rock!
God be with you!
Great work! Next do the Congressional Black Caucus as redshirts…
When Nancy was asked if she liked the SOTU, she replied “beep, beep”
Hope you get better soon. Hope it’s not shingles, I had shingles 5 years ago and it was some of the worst pain ever.
That’s what everybody keeps telling me. So far, the pain hasn’t gotten worse and no rash has appeared. So maybe it’s just the damn Lupus and not Shingles. I never thought I’d hear myself say this, but “here’s hoping it’s Lupus!”
