Desperate to slander Trump, the media defends MS-13

Golly, I can’t imagine why Americans think the news media is the enemy of the people.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they always side with America’s enemies.

Yesterday, during the President’s round table discussion on Sanctuary policies, Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims brought up MS-13.

“There could be an MS-13 member I know about,” Mims told the President. “If they don’t reach a certain threshold, I cannot tell ICE about them.”

And in response, the President described MS-13 gang members this way:

“You won’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast.”

Immediately the Trump Derangement-Addled “journalists” and Democrat politicians clutched their pearls and well-I-nevered themselves into a tizzy.

Of course, in their reporting of this quote from President Trump, the dishonest, disgusting news media omitted the fact that he was referring to MS-13 gang members.

Now, don’t be fooled. The news media know President Trump was talking about MS-13.

They’re fools, but they’re not stupid.

But then again, neither are we.

If you know how the Enslaved Press operates, you can suss out what they’re doing.

Let me sum it up.

RussiaGate is collapsing like the house of cards it is.

Mueller won’t be indicting President Trump.

The IG reports that are soon to be release will be the final nail in the coffin of this cabal that attempted a coup against a duly elected President.

All their hopes of destroying Trump are about to come crashing down around them.

Hell, even their so-called ace in the hole – that slimy political operative masquerading as Stormy Daniels’ lawyer – has been exposed as a corrupt fraud.

So what does the news media do?

They go right back to the beginning — slandering Donald Trump as a bigot and a xenophobe who hates “immigrants.”

All this time and effort to destroy him was wasted.

So they go back to the exact same rhetoric they used immediately after Donald J. Trump announced his candidacy.

Remember how they landed on Trump saying “Mexico isn’t sending us their best?”

Remember?

Donald Trump, in his announcement speech, pointed out that these illegals coming in over our border include gang members, drug cartels, rapists, murderers.

And the mainstream news media immediately clutched their pearls and accused him of saying all Mexicans are rapists.

Remember?

It didn’t matter that Donald Trump didn’t say “all Mexicans are rapists.”

That was the narrative they pushed out.

Here we are nearly three years later.

And the news media is once again smearing Mr. Trump for something he did not say.

President Trump calls the animals of MS-13 “animals” and these idiots once again use the same kind of lie to smear him.

Don’t underestimate how significant this is.

It is, in effect, an admission that nothing they’ve tried has worked.

So they go back to the exact same well they tapped in June of 2015.

And why? Because they’ve got nothing, you guys.

That’s the moral of this story.

Every disgusting attempt to destroy Donald Trump’s presidency has failed.

They’re desperate now.

So they look back down into their arsenal and dust off this tired trope.

And it will backfire on them this time the same way it did in 2015.

You’ll recall that what made Donald Trump’s candidacy take off like a rocket was his position on illegal “immigration.”

And it is thanks in large part to the news media shining a bright spotlight on it.

They did it to attack him, sure. And they thought it would work.

Trust me. They really did believe that if they harped on this claim that American voters would be angry and disgusted.

And they thought for sure that Trump — like those milquetoast Republicans would stumble the microphone and apologize.

But it backfired on them.

Instead, Trump doubled down. He went to Los Angeles and met with the families of people killed by illegals then held a press conference with them.

The media thought we would be horrified by a candidate who didn’t backtrack or apologize for pointing out that illegals aren’t all valedictorians in the making. They thought we’d be disgusted that Donald Trump wasn’t “reaching out” to illegals.

But we weren’t.

Finally a Presidential candidate was pointing out the danger of unfettered illegal immigration. And American voters flocked to his campaign.

I’ve said time and time again that it was Donald Trump’s position on immigration that won him not only the nomination but the General Election as well.

And the fact that the news media is circling back to this idiotic “he’s a bigot who hates immigrants” meme is a sign of their desperation.

Sure, in large part it is inspired by their Trump Derangement Syndrome.

But it’s more than that.

They went to war with Donald Trump and they lost.

And rather than admit defeat, they grasp at a tired, nonsensical tactic that failed spectacularly the first time around.

They have no choice.

Every other attempt to destroy Trump has failed. These guys are desperate now.

A lot of what Trump calls Fake News! are mistakes; you can somewhat excuse them away (though they always seem to break in one way). This MS13 quote is a whole other animal; willful dishonesty meant to mislead and slander. This is a rubicon moment.

Perhaps it is a Rubicon moment.

But the media won’t notice. Their Trump Derangement Syndrome will get in the way.

They aren’t stupid, but they are blinded by their hatred for President Trump.

And it’s why despite the fact that their credibility is in the crapper, they simply cannot stop damaging it even more.
